A mega parade of the school’s uniform unit will be headed by the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM), symbolising the celebration of Merdeka month at Bintang Kecil Mini Fest 2023

Along with invited celebrities like Mark Adam, Yana Samsudin, Shaza Bae, and many others, 350 kids from various school uniform units will participate in a mega parade led by the Royal Malaysia Police to symbolise the celebration of independence in conjunction with Merdeka (Independence) month.

Furthermore, Fiza Frizzy will be the face of the programme and the event’s host, which will  take place on August 19th and 20th, 2023, at Plaza Masalam in Shah Alam.

The Bintang Kecil Mini Fest will also be graced by the presence of Malaysia’s esteemed  astronaut, Dato’ Dr. Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor, who will engage with the participating children  in the mega parade. The event will involve six school uniform units, namely Tunas Puteri,  Scouts, Puteri Islam, Malaysian Red Crescent Society (PBSM), Tunas Kadet Remaja Sekolah  (TKRS), and brass Band from four schools, which are Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Padang Jawa,  SK Bandar Anggerik, SK Section 19 Shah Alam, and SK Kepong.

Bintang Kecil Mini Fest 2023 is predicted to bring together about 2000 children of diverse  ages, each with a different set of abilities, hobbies, and interests. Various activities and  performances have been planned to cater to different interests and talents, such as the  Merdeka Colouring Contest, Pool Kidz Playground, Zumba, Kids’ Beauty Pageant, Haka  Performance, Choir Performance, and many more!

Bintang Kecil Mini Fest is an initiative under the digital portal of “Bintang Kecil,” which is under  the umbrella of Nu Ideaktiv Sdn Bhd. This awe-inspiring festival is powered by Perbadanan  Tabung Pendidikan Tinggi Nasional (PTPTN), Karihome, and Plaza Shah Alam. Aimed at  encouraging children to explore their creativity and showcase their abilities in a supportive  and inclusive environment. Through these experiences, children can develop self-esteem,  teamwork, and communication skills that will benefit them in their personal and academic  lives.

Bintang Kecil is a cutting-edge digital entertainment and educational platform for children that  takes them into an imaginative new dimension. In addition, another subsidiary of Nu Ideaktiv, Remaja, a teen infotainment portal, will be  holding talent auditions for the Hero Dewi Remaja (HDR) 2023 television programme. This  time, the HDR will be conducted concurrently. 

The HDR show has proven to be an entertainment platform that showcases new talents that  have truly mastered the entertainment industry with their success in dramas and films in  Malaysia, and in fact, some have entered neighbouring countries such as Indonesia. 

There are also some who have successfully become TV hosts, newsreaders, and radio  presenters. Ana Jobling, Merqeen, Shaza Bae, Aniq Suhair, Tracie Sinidol, Mierul Aiman, Scha  Al-Yahya, Neelofa, Izara Aishah, Anzalna Nasir, Fattah Amin, Syafiq Kyle, and several others  are among them.

The Hero Dewi Remaja 2023 Auditions will take place on August 26 and 27, 2023, at the  Concorde Hotel, Kuala Lumpur, September 2 and 3, 2023, at Vouk & Suites, Penang, and on  September 9 and 10, 2023, at The Palace Hotel, Sabah, and finally, September 16 and 17,  2023, at the Eastin Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.
