In celebration of the recent Chinese New Year, Hong Leong Bank (“HLB” or “the Bank”) organized its branch open houses at selected locations nationwide on the 3rd and 4th of February 2024, showcasing the Bank’s dedication to cultivating strong connections with its customers and the community.
The open house event offered HLB customers and community members an opportunity to partake in the joyous celebrations and experience the rich traditions associated with Chinese New Year. Customers were treated to a spectacular lion dance performance, participated in the traditional “lou sang” toss for prosperity, as well as relished light refreshments, and received exclusive gifts as tokens of good fortune.
The branch open houses also coincided with ‘Li Chun’, which took place from 4th to 5th February 2024, an auspicious period for making financial investments. Customers attending the HLB branch open houses had the opportunity to make deposits into their HLB accounts on ‘Li Chun’ to symbolize the growth of wealth and prosperity in the upcoming year.
