    Samsung Electronics has officially unveiled the Galaxy Z Flip7 and Galaxy Z Flip7 FE at Galaxy Unpacked 2025 in Brooklyn, marking a major advancement in foldable innovation. This launch represents the latest chapter in Samsung’s journey to redefine smartphone design and user experience.

    The Galaxy Z Flip7 takes flip-style smartphones to a new level by combining a compact and portable design with smarter AI features. It features the largest cover screen ever introduced in the Galaxy Z Flip lineup, offering a more intuitive experience in a sleeker form. Samsung Newsroom had the opportunity to get an exclusive hands-on experience with the Galaxy Z Flip7 during the Unpacked event.

    The device debuts with a full-front FlexWindow and a refined, slimmer silhouette. The standout feature is the 4.1-inch FlexWindow, which boasts ultra-thin 1.25 millimeter bezels that allow the display to cover nearly the entire front, except for the camera area. This expanded display allows users to carry out daily tasks like checking schedules, responding to messages, or using AI-powered tools directly from the cover screen without needing to flip open the device.

    Once opened, users are greeted with a 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X main display. Both the FlexWindow and the main display offer up to 2,600 nits of brightness, a smooth 120 hertz refresh rate, and Samsung’s Vision Booster technology, ensuring excellent visibility and vibrant content even under bright outdoor conditions.

    In terms of size, the Galaxy Z Flip7 is the slimmest model in the series to date. It measures just 6.5 millimeters when unfolded and 13.7 millimeters when folded, with a total weight of only 188 grams. This makes it even more pocket-friendly without sacrificing performance or durability. The phone is reinforced with a durable Armor Aluminum frame and a thinner yet stronger Armor FlexHinge that ensures smooth folding and long-lasting use.

    Inside, the device houses a 4,300 mAh battery, the largest battery yet in the Galaxy Z Flip series. This extended power capacity supports up to 31 hours of video playback, giving users more freedom to stay connected and entertained without frequent recharging.

    One of the standout features of the Galaxy Z Flip7 is its integration of multimodal AI capabilities through One UI 8, which is specially optimized for the larger FlexWindow.
