    M+Global by Malacca Securities, Malaysia’s top stock trading platform and all-in-one trading app, has officially launched its first stockbroking concept store at KL Eco City. Recognised as Malaysia’s first retail experience of this kind, the store blends fintech innovation with a personal touch to help Malaysians, particularly those aged 25 to 45, enhance their financial knowledge with confidence in a premium physical environment. The opening ceremony featured representatives from Bursa Malaysia and Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation, along with a special tele-presentation by Malaysia’s rising badminton star, Toh Ee Wei. The concept store offers visitors an engaging learning environment, complete with a product experience zone, investment learning hub, merchandise retail section, private consultations, and a Snap It photo corner.

    According to Ms. Lim Chia Wei, Managing Director of M+Global, the store reflects the brand’s commitment to guiding Malaysians from simply saving to actively growing their wealth through expert advice, foundational financial knowledge, and practical investment strategies. Beyond M+Global’s team of over 200 licensed investment professionals, the store will host talks, seminars, and interactive sessions with other industry experts to provide a well-rounded approach to financial literacy.

    Financial knowledge remains a pressing issue in Malaysia. Data from Bank Negara Malaysia shows that while the Malaysia Financial Literacy and Capability Index has increased from 57.1 in 2018 to 59.1 in 2024, many Malaysians still face challenges with money management and financial resilience. Surveys such as the Financial Capability and Inclusion Demand Side Survey indicate that 61 percent of Malaysians struggle to gather even RM1,000 in an emergency, and that many savings are frequently used for daily expenses. Debt remains a concern, particularly among young adults, with 26 percent reporting they carry too much personal or student loan debt.

    Leveraging more than 60 years of experience in the financial sector through Malacca Securities, the M+Global Concept Store offers visitors private consultations tailored to their investment goals. This personalised approach ensures that every individual receives guidance suited to their circumstances, reinforcing the idea that investing is not only about knowledge but also about support and growth. The Investment Learning Hub encourages learning through workshops, seminars, talk shows, and interactive sessions led by industry professionals. Scheduled sessions include BBK Network in October, known for making financial topics relatable for young Malaysians, Financial Faiz in November, who shares practical steps for building wealth, and a special guest in January yet to be announced.     Alongside the store opening, M+Global introduced Malaysian badminton star Toh Ee Wei as its first brand ambassador.     KHADAM Brings Horror to Life with Datuk Remy Ishak, Siti Khadijah Halim & Indonesian Star Aghniny Haque

    In a special media gathering today, it was announced that two acclaimed Malaysian production houses, Red Communications and Komet Productions, have joined forces to deliver a gripping new horror film set in 1950s Malaysia. Titled Khadam, the film promises to merge the richness of Nusantara folklore with chilling cinematic storytelling, anchored by powerful characters.

    Leading this cross border collaboration is a stellar cast fronted by Aghniny Haque, widely recognised as the queen of Indonesian horror through her roles in KKN Desa Penari and Pemandi Jenazah, alongside Malaysia’s own heartthrob Remy Ishak known for The Experts, Pulang and Sangkar, as well as rising star Siti Khadijah Halim who has made her mark in From Saga With Love and Ash and Aish.

    Khadam marks Red Communications’ bold entry into the horror genre, combining Red’s celebrated storytelling expertise with Komet Productions’ strong track record as a trusted Southeast Asian content partner through works such as Blood Brothers Bara Naga, Ejen Ali The Movie 2 and Siksa Kubur. The milestone project has already drawn significant international attention with foreign investors including Sil Metropole from Hong Kong and Applause Entertainment from India showing strong interest, signalling the growing global appetite for high quality Southeast Asian genre films rooted in distinctive cultural heritage. The project has also received support from FINAS, the National Film Development Corporation Malaysia.

    Helming the film is director Shamyl Othman, who previously directed Rahsia, one of Malaysia’s blockbuster horror titles, while the screenplay is written by Fariza Azlina Isahak, the acclaimed writer behind Songlap and KAMI The Movie, both celebrated for capturing the voice of their generation.

    The story of Khadam follows Melor, who after the passing of her mother, reluctantly inherits her family’s saka, a spiritual inheritance with dark and mystical undertones. As the saka tightens its grip, she must race against time to protect her young daughter from a violent fate as the next mistress of this sinister legacy. More than just a horror film, Khadam offers a poignant exploration of motherhood and the difficult choices women must make under both societal and supernatural pressures, told through a suspense filled narrative deeply rooted in Southeast Asian folklore.

    The collaboration between Red Communications and Komet Productions reflects a continued effort to strengthen the local film industry by pooling resources, talent and vision to elevate Malaysian horror on the regional stage. With an Indonesian star taking a central role in this Malaysia based project, the film is poised to attract audiences across Southeast Asia.

    Production is scheduled to begin in mid September 2025 with a targeted release in cinemas nationwide and selected regional markets in 2026, and will also feature Jun Lojong alongside child actors and siblings Zarra Zhaff and Karl’El.

The venue was beautifully transformed with pink-themed décor, vibrant ambience, and coordinated guest outfits, all reflecting the essence of Sheeran’s latest project. Hosted by FLY FM’s Rika Adrina, the evening included interactive games, exclusive merchandise, lively DJ sets by Alicia Fireheart, and endless photo moments against the city skyline, complemented by light refreshments and an early preview of tracks from “Play.”

    Marking Sheeran’s eighth studio album, “Play” takes a bold step away from his renowned Mathematics series. Sheeran shared that the project was born out of a challenging period in his life, driving him to create music filled with color, joy, and cultural influences gathered from his tours around the world. With sounds inspired by India, Persia, and other regions, the album merges nostalgic ballads with fresh, borderless experimentation.     The Sri Muda factory, already a major hub for Ready-to-Drink UHT and recycled PET products, has become one of the most advanced facilities of its kind worldwide following investments exceeding half a billion ringgit over the past decade. The new production line is designed to meet rising demand in domestic and export markets, including Singapore, Oceania, the Middle East and North Africa, with potential expansion into other ASEAN countries and Europe. This strategic initiative further establishes Nestlé Malaysia as a key Halal manufacturing hub for the global Nestlé group.

    Malaysia was chosen by the Nestlé Group as a strategic manufacturing and sourcing location for Asian markets due to its competitive infrastructure, skilled workforce and proven capabilities.     The product is packaged in 100 percent rPET bottles with Carbon Black Free Pigment caps, reflecting Nestlé’s sustainability commitments. The Sri Muda factory has led environmental initiatives including the elimination of over one billion plastic straws, the replacement of plastic wrappers with sustainable paper solutions and the adoption of 100 percent rPET bottles across all products in ASEAN.

    This launch builds on Nestlé’s ongoing investment in Malaysia, which includes close to RM1.5 billion over the past five years to expand and upgrade local facilities, develop an integrated logistics hub in Port Klang, and enhance flagship plants such as MILO in Chembong and factories in Batu Tiga. Known as the world’s first personal 3D texture UV printer, the campaign launched on April 29 and passed 10 million dollars in only 14 hours. It has now raised more than 46 million dollars, making it the most funded project in Kickstarter’s history and surpassing the previous record of 41.7 million dollars.

    Sebuah lagi drama penuh emosi kini menemui penonton melalui saluran televisyen. Rumah Tanpa Luka terbitan Suhan Movies & Trading bersama BamBam Studios mula ditayangkan di Astro Ria pada 1 September lalu pada setiap Isnin hingga Khamis jam 10 malam. Drama ini mengetengahkan kisah seorang kanak-kanak istimewa yang dilahirkan dengan sindrom Down tetapi ditolak oleh ibu bapanya sendiri. Selain itu, jalan ceritanya turut mengangkat realiti masyarakat apabila anak perempuan sulung sering dipertanggungjawabkan memikul beban keluarga.

    Naskhah arahan Nur Ain Sharif ini menampilkan gandingan pertama antara Erysha Emyra, Shukri Yahya dan Nadhir Nasar. Antara aspek menarik yang dibawa adalah pertembungan dua karakter lelaki yang dikaitkan dengan gelaran green flag dan red flag. Watak Qiuzi lakonan Shukri digambarkan sebagai seorang mekanik berjiwa sederhana dan rendah hati. Walaupun memiliki lima bengkel kereta, dia lebih senang hidup secara bersahaja, setia dan tidak gemar menonjolkan diri. Keperibadian ini menjadikan Qiuzi sebagai sosok lelaki yang diimpikan ramai penonton wanita. Berbeza pula dengan watak Hayden Hayyan yang dibawa oleh Nadhir. Karakter ini dilihat sebagai red flag kerana membawa sisi antagonis yang penuh konflik dan perjalanan emosinya sukar dijangka dari satu episod ke episod seterusnya.

    Kedua-dua pelakon juga meluahkan rasa teruja dapat bekerjasama dengan pelakon kanak-kanak istimewa, Naura Arissa, yang membawakan watak Rose Ameena. Rose ialah seorang anak sindrom Down yang sejak kelahirannya tidak diingini keluarga, malah dianggap beban. Namun begitu, dia memiliki semangat yang besar walaupun sering dibuli di sekolah dan hanya ditemani oleh seorang sahabat karib bernama Dewi. Shukri dan Nadhir menyifatkan pengalaman bekerja bersama Naura sebagai sesuatu yang bermakna kerana beliau memberikan komitmen dan disiplin yang tinggi sepanjang penggambaran.

    Drama ini menuntut penonton melalui pelbagai perjalanan emosi dengan jalan cerita yang penuh warna. Selain siaran di Astro Ria, penonton juga boleh menonton Rumah Tanpa Luka di platform Astro Go dan Sooka. Kisahnya mengisahkan tentang Kalsum yang tetap tabah menjaga Rose Ameena walaupun dirinya dibuang keluarga.     Single Terbaru “CINDERELLA”: Asyraf Nasir Membawa Kisah Dongeng Moden Dalam Irama Hip Hop

    Asyraf Nasir, penyanyi rap dan hip hop yang semakin menonjol di kancah muzik Malaysia, kembali mencuri perhatian dengan single terbarunya berjudul “CINDERELLA”. Lagu ini menghidupkan semula kisah dongeng moden dengan keyakinan yang tersendiri, jauh daripada kasut kaca versi asal, dan direka sebagai lagu feel-good untuk golongan yang sering dipinggirkan atau underdog moden.

    “CINDERELLA” menceritakan detik di mana seseorang akhirnya mendapat perhatian dan melangkah ke cahaya dengan cara yang menyeronokkan, nakal, dan penuh gaya. Menurut Asyraf, lagu ini khas untuk mereka yang pernah merasa terpinggir tetapi sedar bahawa mereka mempunyai sesuatu yang istimewa.

    Rakaman lagu ini selesai hanya dalam dua hari dengan sebahagian besar menggunakan first take. Seperti lagu terdahulu “VIRUS”, Asyraf dan kolaboratornya SonaOne berjaya menangkap tenaga spontan yang segar di studio. “Kami tidak terlalu memikirkan setiap detik. Apa yang anda dengar adalah kejujuran yang asli,” jelasnya.

    Bekerja dengan SonaOne memberikan pengalaman baru kepada Asyraf. Idea-idea mereka saling melengkapi sehingga lagu ini terasa hidup dan dinamik. Bunyi eccentric synth piano yang membuka lagu ini diambil daripada sebuah lagu lama Malaysia dan diberi sentuhan moden yang unik.

    “CINDERELLA” sebenarnya bermula sebagai demo pada tahun 2020. Selepas lima tahun, lagu ini masih melekat di fikiran Asyraf dan rakan-rakan pemuziknya. Versi akhir hampir tidak banyak berubah daripada demo kerana keajaiban lagu itu sudah wujud sejak awal. Asyraf mempercayakan KidKenobi untuk menyempurnakan hasil akhir sambil mengekalkan rasa asal. Menariknya, tajuk asal lagu ini ialah “Condifento”, hasil gurauan spontan ketika proses mencipta rentak.

    Single ini menandakan permulaan era baharu bagi Asyraf Nasir. Setiap lagu dalam fasa baru ini akan mempunyai watak dan personaliti tersendiri, seolah-olah karakter dalam filem, dan Asyraf mahu pendengar benar-benar tenggelam dalam fantasi itu. Dengan “CINDERELLA”, Asyraf membuktikan bahawa kisah dongeng boleh dibawakan dalam rentak hip hop yang penuh keyakinan dan gaya tersendiri.

    “CINDERELLA” akan berada di semua platform digital bermula 8 Ogos 2025.
