HUAWEI INTRODUCES THE WATCH KIDS X1 SERIES IN MALAYSIA

HUAWEI Malaysia has officially announced the nationwide availability of its latest smartwatch lineup for children, the HUAWEI WATCH KIDS X1 Series, which comes in two variants — the HUAWEI WATCH KIDS X1 Pro and the standard HUAWEI WATCH KIDS X1. Designed to help children stay connected while fostering independence, the series integrates communication tools, safety functions, and smart features tailored for modern family lifestyles.

Built with global 2G, 3G, and 4G connectivity support, the WATCH KIDS X1 Series is equipped with multi-mode dual-band positioning technology that combines satellite, base station, Wi-Fi, sensor-assisted, and SOS-assisted tracking methods. This ensures more accurate and reliable real-time location tracking, giving parents greater peace of mind wherever their children go. Through the HUAWEI FamCare app, parents can manage approved contacts, monitor device usage, and track activity remotely, while children can stay in touch via voice and HD video calls through HUAWEI MeeTime, enhanced with AI Noise Cancellation for clearer communication. Additional safety features include SOS emergency calling, Safety Zone alerts, and Class Mode to minimise distractions during school hours.

Beyond connectivity and safety, the series also introduces a “photo buddy” experience featuring a 5MP 110-degree ultra-wide-angle front camera and a 13MP rear camera for capturing everyday moments. The Pro version further enhances creativity with a detachable camera design, allowing more flexible photography beyond wrist-based usage. Both models sport a 1.82-inch AMOLED display with a 360-degree rotatable and flippable design, paired with a lightweight build that blends functionality with a playful aesthetic suitable for children.

In terms of design, the WATCH KIDS X1 comes in Pink and Blue, while the X1 Pro is available in Black and Purple, reflecting a mecha-inspired theme that balances expressive style with everyday practicality. The WATCH KIDS X1 Pro is priced at RM1,599, while the standard WATCH KIDS X1 is priced at RM999. Both models are now available at HUAWEI Experience Stores, the official HUAWEI website, as well as Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop official stores.

To celebrate the launch, customers will also receive free gifts worth up to RM808, including a one-year HUAWEI Care+ subscription and a one-year APAC warranty, adding further value to the new smartwatch series designed for both safety and connectivity in today’s digital-first world.
