At Mobile World Congress (MWC) Barcelona 2026, HONOR showcased its vision for Augmented Human Intelligence (AHI) and accelerated its ALPHA PLAN through three connected pillars: Alpha Phone, Alpha Store, and Alpha Lab. Emphasizing its long-term commitment to human-centric AI, HONOR offered a first look at Robot Phone, a pioneering exploration of embodied intelligence and a new category of smartphone designed to integrate motion and spatial awareness into daily interactions.
Alongside this innovation, HONOR introduced the Magic V6, the latest evolution in its foldable series. The Magic V6 combines breakthrough silicon-carbon battery technology, advanced display engineering, and AI-enhanced productivity, representing the most refined foldable design to date. These announcements, together with new ecosystem devices including the MagicPad 4 and MagicBook Pro 14, underscore HONOR’s strategy to create intelligent hardware and software that address real human needs.
James Li, CEO of HONOR, commented, “Guided by a human-centric approach, we navigate AI development through the dual pillars of IQ and EQ, integrating three forms of intelligence. With Alpha Phone, we are exploring a new paradigm of AI devices; with Alpha Store, we host the new paradigm of an AI ecosystem; and with Alpha Lab, we are building a new paradigm for a silicon-carbon civilization. The three waves of the Alpha Plan are now in place, and we are driving this journey forward at full speed.”

The Robot Phone represents a new species of smartphone, combining embodied AI interaction with robot-grade motion and cinematic imaging capabilities. Moving beyond traditional screen and voice interfaces, it introduces more physical and expressive interactions through motion and camera movement. Its multimodal perception allows it to identify sounds, track motion, and maintain visual awareness, enabling a natural, sensory, and intuitive experience.
The device supports all-angle AI video calling that follows users with robot-grade motion control. It also displays expressive body language, including nods and head shakes, and can even dance to music, making interactions playful and lifelike. Engineering the Robot Phone required rethinking space, strength, and weight at a microscopic scale. HONOR leveraged high-performance materials and expertise from foldable devices to create a self-developed micro motor that powers an ultra-compact 4DoF gimbal system, enabling precise robot-grade motion control.
This mechanical architecture includes a three-axis gimbal stabilization system for smooth motion in dynamic environments. Super Steady Video mode enhances stability in high-movement scenarios, while AI Object Tracking allows the phone to follow subjects intelligently in real time. AI SpinShot enables 90° and 180° rotational movements for fluid cinematic shots, even during one-handed use. Equipped with a 200MP sensor and a stabilized gimbal camera, Robot Phone empowers users to capture life stories with professional-quality cinematic effects.
Through these capabilities, HONOR demonstrates how embodied AI can create new forms of interaction and storytelling, marking a significant step in its ALPHA PLAN. Robot Phone provides a glimpse of how intelligent, adaptive devices may shape the future of mobile technology.
HONOR also unveiled its first humanoid robot, signaling a broader strategy to leverage its mobile technology expertise for consumer-grade robotics. These robots will focus on shopping assistance, workplace inspections, and supportive companionship. Building on insights from its smartphone and connected device ecosystem, HONOR aims to develop embodied AI devices that recognize users, understand their needs, and provide personalized physical assistance from the first interaction.
Together with Robot Phone, the humanoid robot, Magic V6, MagicPad 4, and MagicBook Pro 14, HONOR is bridging the gap between digital and physical AI. From experimental robotics to flagship foldable engineering and AI-powered productivity, these releases highlight a deeper integration of intelligence across hardware and software.
