HONOR is set to mark another significant milestone in Malaysia with the opening of its largest overseas HONOR Experience Store and Service Centre at The Mall, Mid Valley Southkey in Johor Bahru. Scheduled for its official opening on 26 July, the 2000 square foot flagship store brings together retail, after-sales service, and product experience into a single premium destination for consumers.
To celebrate the grand opening, the first 200 customers who like and share HONOR Malaysia’s official Facebook page and leave a Google review of the new store on 26 July stand a chance to win a robot cleaner. In addition, customers who spend above RM1000 in a single receipt will qualify for a lucky draw, with prizes worth up to RM40000 up for grabs until 27 July 2025.
More than just a retail outlet, the new HONOR Experience Store and Service Centre is designed to offer a complete customer journey. From product purchase to after-sales care, visitors can explore the latest HONOR products, features, and ecosystem devices across various interactive zones. One of the main highlights is the recently launched HONOR Magic V5.
At the interactive product zone, customers can see the HONOR Magic V5 seemingly floating on air, showcasing its lightweight design. Another demonstration includes a non-Newtonian fluid which represents one of the three protective layers of the Magic V5 inner screen. Customers can punch the fluid to experience how it hardens on impact. The store also features a hinge durability test, where the Magic V5 supports a 35 kilogram weight dumbbell, demonstrating its toughness. A teardown display area gives insight into the internal engineering of the foldable device, showing the slim silicon carbon battery and internal frame that support the tagline ‘Slim with No Compromise.’
The HONOR Magic V5 has already seen strong success, recording a 60 percent increase in sales during the pre-order period compared to its predecessor, the Magic V3. The rise in demand reflects Malaysians’ growing interest in foldable smartphones that combine slim designs with powerful performance, advanced cameras, long battery life, and AI-enhanced multitasking features.
The HONOR Magic V5 will officially be available nationwide starting 25 July 2025 and is priced at RM6999. It comes with 16GB RAM and 512GB of storage and is available in four elegant colors: Dawn Gold, Ivory White, Silk Brown, and Black.
Customers who purchase the Magic V5 will also receive free gifts worth RM2697, including the HONOR CHOICE Earbuds Clip, a one year crack protection plan, and a two year quality assurance package. To make the deal even more attractive, an additional RM400 rebate is available through the trade-in program when customers exchange their old devices for the new Magic V5. This trade-in program is valid until 31 August 2025 and is available at selected Maxis, Senheng, Grand Senheng, SenQ, Urban Republic, and Harvey Norman outlets.
