Gardenia’s ‘Fuel Your Success’ Tour Inspires Thousands of University Students Across Malaysia

Gardenia Bakeries (KL) Sdn. Bhd. (GBKL) has officially launched its motivational university outreach programme titled ‘Fuel Your Success – One Bite At A Time’, a campus tour designed to uplift and empower university students nationwide. With an aim to reach over 120,000 students across 10 public universities in Peninsular Malaysia, the programme delivers practical life skills on time management, stress coping mechanisms, and communication all within a fun, engaging, and interactive setting.

The launch ceremony at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Puncak Alam was graced by Mr. Hirman bin Awang, Director of Student Affairs at the Ministry of Higher Education. Also present was Ms. Ena Suhaila Abas, Senior Marketing Manager of Gardenia Bakeries (KL), along with special guest Najwa Latif, a celebrated singer-songwriter and lecturer at UiTM, who also plays a key role in the programme as its motivational speaker.

Throughout the tour, Najwa Latif will join the Gardenia team in visiting 10 selected campuses, sharing her personal stories and practical advice to help students navigate university life with confidence. Her two-hour sessions are packed with inspirational talks covering key topics and conclude with a lively quiz session where students can win exciting prizes. Participants will also receive free samples of Gardenia’s Ready-to-Eat (RTE) products, discount vouchers, and exclusive merchandise.

“Our goal is to show that small, smart choices like healthy eating can fuel bigger achievements,” said Ms. Ena Suhaila Abas. “Gardenia’s Ready-to-Eat products are designed to be convenient, affordable, and nourishing for students constantly on the go. Through this tour, we also want to be seen as a brand that cares about student wellness, not just physically but also mentally and emotionally.” She also revealed that Gardenia will be launching two exciting new flavours soon, continuing their commitment to offer products that are both delicious and value-for-money.

Mr. Hirman bin Awang, in support of the initiative, shared, “The Ministry of Higher Education appreciates programmes like this that not only engage students but equip them with essential soft skills. Gardenia’s initiative is commendable, and we encourage more brands to contribute to student development in similar ways.”

The ‘Fuel Your Success – One Bite At A Time’ tour began in April and will run until the end of August. Among the universities involved are Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), Universiti Malaya (UM), Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM), Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UNIMAP), Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMP), Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM), Universiti Islam Antarabangsa Malaysia (UIAM), and Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). With each stop, the tour continues to motivate students across Malaysia, combining personal growth with positive brand engagement.
