    HONOR is set to mark another significant milestone in Malaysia with the opening of its largest overseas HONOR Experience Store and Service Centre at The Mall, Mid Valley Southkey in Johor Bahru. Scheduled for its official opening on 26 July, the 2000 square foot flagship store brings together retail, after-sales service, and product experience into a single premium destination for consumers.

    To celebrate the grand opening, the first 200 customers who like and share HONOR Malaysia’s official Facebook page and leave a Google review of the new store on 26 July stand a chance to win a robot cleaner.     The HONOR Magic V5 has already seen strong success, recording a 60 percent increase in sales during the pre-order period compared to its predecessor, the Magic V3. The rise in demand reflects Malaysians’ growing interest in foldable smartphones that combine slim designs with powerful performance, advanced cameras, long battery life, and AI-enhanced multitasking features.

    The HONOR Magic V5 will officially be available nationwide starting 25 July 2025 and is priced at RM6999. It comes with 16GB RAM and 512GB of storage and is available in four elegant colors: Dawn Gold, Ivory White, Silk Brown, and Black.

    As the thinnest and lightest Galaxy Z Fold yet, the Galaxy Z Fold7 introduces multimodal AI capabilities, a redesigned user interface, and the series’ first 200-megapixel camera. With ultra-level refinement across both design and technology, this latest device sets a new standard for foldable smartphones.

    Samsung Newsroom got an exclusive early look at the Galaxy Z Fold7 during Galaxy Unpacked 2025.

    The Galaxy Z Fold7 is the thinnest and lightest in the Galaxy Z Fold series to date, measuring only 4.2 millimeters when unfolded and 8.9 millimeters when folded, with a weight of just 215 grams. These are groundbreaking figures, especially considering the device includes a cover display and a complex folding mechanism.

    The hardware innovation is immediately noticeable. The Galaxy Z Fold7 is significantly slimmer and more lightweight than its predecessors. It feels closer to a traditional bar-type smartphone in hand and is thinner than the average passport or card wallet, making it exceptionally comfortable to carry.

    The cover display has a wider 21 to 9 aspect ratio, which makes everyday tasks like messaging, browsing, and checking emails more convenient, all without the need to unfold the device.

    Design innovation also extends to the hinge. The newly developed Armor FlexHinge is thinner while still offering solid durability. The upgraded internal hinge structure also significantly reduces the visibility of the crease along the foldable display, improving both aesthetics and functionality.

    The Galaxy Z Fold7 is also the first in the Galaxy Z Fold series to feature a 200-megapixel camera, which captures four times the detail compared to its previous 50-megapixel counterpart. Combined with the AI-powered ProVisual Engine, the camera delivers sharper images and more vivid colors.

    The Galaxy Z Fold7 also debuts with One UI 8, introducing Samsung’s all-new multimodal AI experience. With Google’s Gemini Live, users can share their screen in real time while interacting with the AI assistant, allowing for contextual help based on what is visible on screen.

    For instance, if a user sees a photo of an unfamiliar dessert, Gemini can analyze the image, identify the dish, and even recommend nearby restaurants that serve something similar. The assistant can then save the restaurant list and create a calendar reminder, completing both tasks at once. This seamless integration means there is no need to switch apps or manually enter information.

    Gemini becomes even more powerful when combined with the Galaxy Z Fold7’s large screen and Multi-Window feature. For example, a user can display a chair on one side of the screen and a room on the other, then ask Gemini whether the furniture fits the interior style. The AI assistant analyzes both images and provides useful suggestions, even offering color adjustment options.

    In terms of size, the Galaxy Z Flip7 is the slimmest model in the series to date.
