Expansion of the BYD Rawang Showroom
BYD Sime Motors has expanded its presence in the Klang Valley with the opening of BYD Rawang, bringing its electric vehicle (EV) line-up closer to customers in Rawang and surrounding communities.
Operated by BE Autohaus under BE Group, the new showroom marks the group’s third BYD outlet. Spanning 4,298 sq. ft., the European-inspired space features a customer lounge, a dedicated vehicle delivery room and display space for up to five vehicles.
Community Initiative for Local Artists
Beyond showcasing electric mobility, BYD Rawang is also introducing a community initiative to support emerging local artists. The showroom will host quarterly art exhibitions, giving selected artists the opportunity to display and sell their work, with artists retaining 100% of the sales proceeds without any commission.
Andrew Tay, Managing Director of BE Group, said the showroom aims to provide customers with a welcoming environment while contributing to the local community by creating opportunities for creative talent.
Exclusive Offers and Retail Network
To celebrate its opening, BYD Rawang will host a launch open house from 19 to 30 October 2026, featuring test drives, exclusive offers on selected BYD models and lucky draw prizes for customers who make bookings during the event. Visitors can also explore the inaugural local artist showcase.
The opening further strengthens BYD Sime Motors’ retail network in Malaysia, which includes 45 sales and marketing outlets, 33 aftersales facilities and 16 body and paint centres nationwide.
