KFC Malaysia Face Masks and Community Support
KFC Malaysia has contributed 20,000 face masks to support vulnerable and underserved communities across the Klang Valley, reaffirming its commitment to community well-being and social responsibility.
The initiative is carried out in collaboration with NGO partners Kechara Soup Kitchen (KSK) and The Lost Food Project (TLFP), which support homeless individuals, underprivileged families and other communities in need.
Distribution at Medan Tuanku
On 17 October 2026, KFC Malaysia representatives joined volunteers from both organisations to distribute face masks and KFC meal packs to the homeless at Pusat Khidmat Gelandangan Medan Tuanku, Kuala Lumpur. The initiative aims to provide essential protection while extending support to those facing daily challenges.
KFC Harvest Programme and Sustainability
The contribution also complements the KFC Harvest Programme, the company’s food rescue initiative introduced in Malaysia in 2019. The programme has expanded to 170 KFC restaurants nationwide and redistributed more than 61,000 kilograms of surplus food through NGO partners, benefiting thousands of individuals and families.
Through these efforts, KFC Malaysia continues to extend assistance beyond food donations, supporting community welfare while reducing food waste and promoting sustainability.
