Castrol Malaysia has strengthened its involvement in the Motorsports Association of Malaysia (MAM) Malaysian Cub Prix Championship through an expanded collaboration with Yuzy Racing, alongside the launch of its latest product, Castrol POWER1 ULTIMATE Scooter 10W-40. The move reflects the brand’s continued dedication to advancing performance in both competitive racing and everyday riding.
Under the enhanced sponsorship, Castrol now backs both the CP150 and CP125 categories, two of the championship’s leading underbone classes. Through Yuzy Racing, the team competes with three motorcycles in the CP150 category and one in CP125, further expanding Castrol’s presence while supporting rider growth and technical development.

At the same time, Castrol introduced the POWER1 ULTIMATE Scooter 10W-40, a premium fully synthetic engine oil tailored for modern scooters. Designed to withstand high temperatures and friction, it promotes smoother engine performance and reliable protection, particularly in demanding urban conditions.
Joshua Tan, Head of Marketing for Malaysia, Singapore and the Philippines, noted that innovations in motorsports continue to influence Castrol’s product development. Featuring 5-in-1 Full Synthetic technology, the new formulation is built to enhance engine efficiency while offering strong protection against heat and wear, especially during stop-and-go traffic and extended use.
Recognising the importance of scooters in Malaysia’s daily transport landscape, Castrol developed this lubricant to meet real-world riding demands, focusing on durability and consistent performance. The product is currently undergoing final regulatory approval and is expected to be available in May 2026, subject to SIRIM certification, with production already in progress at its Port Klang facility.
