Sony Thermo Technology Inc. is proud to unveil the latest innovation in wearable comfort technology the REON POCKET PRO. This upgraded model in the REON POCKET series is designed to be worn around the neck, delivering direct cooling or warming to the body at the point of contact. With a host of performance enhancements and intelligent features, the REON POCKET PRO is set to redefine how individuals manage temperature regulation throughout the day.
For the first time in the series, the REON POCKET PRO features dual independent thermo-modules, effectively doubling the cooling and heating area compared to previous models. In addition, a newly developed heat-dissipating fan delivers approximately twice the airflow and significantly boosts the device’s overall cooling capabilities. These improvements translate into up to twice the heat-absorbing performance, an extended usage time of up to 34 hours, and a far more immersive temperature control experience.
Building upon Sony’s commitment to smart technology, the REON POCKET PRO now includes enhanced sensors and an intelligent SMART COOL mode. These upgrades allow the device to automatically respond to the user’s physical activity, body temperature, and environmental humidity, adjusting its output in real time for maximum comfort. With these features, the REON POCKET PRO can provide powerful and responsive cooling for up to 15 hours in SMART COOL mode.
Despite its advanced functionality, the REON POCKET PRO remains discreet and user-friendly. With a sleek, light grey chassis, it is designed to blend seamlessly into business or casual attire. Operational noise has also been reduced by 50%, ensuring the device remains quiet enough for use in office meetings or other quiet environments. Control buttons located on the side of the unit allow users to adjust modes and temperature levels without needing to access their smartphone.
Comfort and wearability have also been significantly improved. The new ergonomic design ensures the cooling/warming area conforms naturally to the body, while the enhanced neckband equipped with a flexible tube and silicone extension offers a more secure and comfortable fit, even during extended wear.
To complement the device, Sony is introducing a custom-designed case specifically for the REON POCKET PRO. Lightweight yet protective, the case can store both the device and its accessories, including previous-generation models. It features an adjustable Velcro strap and dedicated compartments for the REON POCKET TAG, USB cable, air-vent cover, and more.
Set to be available in Malaysia starting July 2025, the REON POCKET PRO will retail at RM1,199. This innovative wearable will also be launched across 22 countries and regions in Asia, Europe, and the Middle East.
