HONOR Malaysia proudly introduces the inaugural Magic Stories Awards 2026, together with an exciting nationwide photography workshop tour designed to highlight Malaysia’s rich cultural heritage, stunning landscapes and vibrant everyday moments to a global audience. This initiative aims to empower photographers to capture the essence and beauty of Malaysia using HONOR smartphones. Both the awards and the workshop tour form a key pillar in supporting the Visit Malaysia 2026 campaign, combining content creation, community engagement and advanced technology to position Malaysia as a leading travel destination.

The HONOR Magic Stories Awards 2026 calls on Malaysians to submit compelling visual stories across six themes: cityscape, people and culture, nature, food, hidden gems and animals. A total of 21 winners will be recognised, celebrating creativity and storytelling through mobile photography. The Photographer of the Year will receive a flagship foldable smartphone, while two Master of Photography winners will each take home the HONOR Magic8 Pro. Three Prestigious Photographers will be awarded the HONOR 600 Pro, and 15 HONORable Photographers will each receive the HONOR 600. Submissions are open from 27 April to 15 September 2026, with winners to be announced in October 2026, and all entries must be captured using HONOR smartphones.
Winning entries will be featured in HONOR exhibitions, selected shopping malls nationwide and across official social media platforms, while selected winners will also advance directly to the global HONOR Magic Stories Awards 2026 finals for a chance at international recognition. Complementing the awards, the HONOR Magic Stories Photography Workshop will take place across seven destinations nationwide from 9 May to 11 July 2026, offering participants hands-on opportunities to explore Malaysia’s diverse cultures, landscapes and communities. The tour begins at The Habitat Penang Hill and continues to Rumah Singgora Kota Bharu, Taman Negara, Eufloria Gardens and Sculpture Park, Sosodikon Hill and Desa Dairy Farm, Wang Kelian View Point and Sarawak Cultural Village.

Participants will gain practical experience across various photography themes while exploring the capabilities of the HONOR 600 Pro. The workshop is supported by CelcomDigi as the Official Connectivity Partner, ensuring seamless high-speed connectivity for participants to create and share content throughout the campaign. More information and registration details are available on HONOR Malaysia’s official website.
