Leading ethical jeweller Greyscorff of Malaysia officially opened their first physical location today at Glomac Galeria Hartamas in Desa Sri Hartamas.
The launch event was attended by a host of celebrity guests that included Greyscorff Brand Ambassador & partner Datin Seri Mastura Yusoff, Miss Universe Malaysia 2020 Francisca Luhong James, Miss World Malaysia 2012 Lee Yvonne, VIP guests Dr Daljit Gill Founder & Managing Director of Klinik Alam Medic Group of Clinics and Datin Selwinder Olikh COO of GLOJAS Smart International Aesthetics, various influencers, other invited guests and members of the media.
Formerly known as Moissanite Malaysia Sdn. Bhd, the company was established on 25th March 2019 by Terrence Goh (CEO), Dr Ivan Ling (CTO) and Thanita Gill (CFO). The pioneering company, a standalone offshoot of Lee Heng Jewellers & Goldsmiths, a 70-year-old family-owned local business spanning 3 generations, was the very first to sell Moissanite gemstones in the nation. In keeping with the times, it was established with a commitment to sell high quality diamond alternatives in Malaysia at affordable prices and based on pure elegance, class and a touch of ‘joie de vivre’.
Greyscorff aims to create the perfect piece of jewellery that will last a lifetime with its customers. Moissanite, a recently discovered gemstone can do just that. Lab-grown Moissanites are affordable, durable, and with refractive index that is higher than that of diamond, and shines brighter than diamond.
Greyscorff focuses on crafted innovation, utilizing the latest technology in the industry to deliver the highest possible product quality for the price.
The fundamental values of Greyscorff are grounded in transparency, simplicity and creativity. Greyscorff believes in paying for the stone, not for the inflated prices of marketing the stone.
In his welcome address, Greyscorff’s Chief Executive Officer Terrence Goh explained that the high costs related to diamonds is nothing more than a marketing scheme targeted at the engagement market.
“With the blood or conflict diamond controversy since the nineties, it’s safe to say that despite their luxury status, diamonds have not received the best reputation,” the young change maker expressed, referring to diamonds mined in a war zone and sold to finance war.
“People have now begun turning to more sustainable and ethical alternatives in lab-grown diamonds and Moissanites.” he shared.
“Lab-grown Moissanite is comparatively more affordable and durable, and carries a refractive index that’s higher than that of diamond. It literally shines brighter than a diamond,” Goh added.
“Conscious and more socially aware about sustainability and the environment, the newer generation have begun looking at alternatives such as lab-created diamonds and Moissanite. It appeals to a variety of buyers, many who are conscious of the potential for exploitation in the diamond industry. In current economic times, we believe the public also understands the magnitude of their spending power and appreciate the lower comparative cost of buying lab gemstones over natural diamond,” Goh further expressed.
As lab diamonds and Moissanite continue to grow in popularity, Greyscorff is committed to addressing customers’ concerns about these splendid stones. Although they have read about Moissanite and Lab Diamonds, some buyers are still skeptical and unwilling to buy, not having never seen the gems in person which is why Greyscorff is there to bridge the gap.
Growing rapidly, Greyscorff has been supplying lab diamonds and Moissanites to customers all over Malaysia via their online store over the last four years, and now through their newly set up Kuala Lumpur showroom. For those outside of Kuala Lumpur, they also provide a free service which allows potential buyers to view Moissanites from the comfort of their own homes. Customers just have to pay a fully-refundable deposit and Greyscorff will mail loose stones directly to their doors for a preview.
Greyscorff celebrates life’s cherished moments, conscientiously. Not only are their Lab Diamonds and Moissanites ethically sourced, they are much kinder to the environment, giving buyers guilt-free alternatives without the need to sacrifice style and sophistication.
Greyscorff is the leading ethical and accessible brand for premium lab-grown engagement rings in Malaysia. Greyscorff specialises in timeless, unparalleled designs and bespoke lab-grown diamond and Moissanite engagement rings.
By providing low volume, bespoke production services, Greyscorff is able to offer competitive pricing and personalized services, while creating a strong emotional connection between their customers and their skillful team of jewellery designers in crafting each unique piece.
Greyscorff aims and strives to provide ethical and eco-friendly fine jewellery that will last a lifetime through through their positive community impact and exclusive use of lab-grown gemstones. Prioritising sustainability and responsibility, Greyscorff’s designs are synonymous with exceptional craftsmanship, empowering couples to embody their values for generations to come through exquisite beauty and style.
Greyscorff’s showroom features a range of their most popular engagement rings to grace clients with beautiful ethical stones, including Solitaire, Halo and Trilogy styles in Yellow Gold, White Gold, Rose Gold and Platinum.
Addressing the idea that diamonds are the ultimate status symbol for love and commitment,Greyscorff is presenting that narrative through its bespoke services.
“Every piece of our jewellery tells its own tale. We ask for their story, the message they want to convey through that piece of jewellery, be it an engagement ring, a wedding band or quite simply a pair of earrings as a gift, or to be worn by the customer themselves,” Goh expanded.
The process of creating a bespoke jewellery generally takes about three weeks from start to completion of the final product. The design process may require several reiterations over time to ensure that Greyscorff’s customers are indeed satisfied with the design before it goes to production.
“All our designs are within financial reach and we create a piece of jewellery together with you which will last a lifetime,” Goh concluded with a twinkle in his eye.
Although the engagement market may already have preconceived beliefs, diamonds are no longer the epitome of showing one’s love, as socially conscious young adults turn to more sustainable and brighter alternatives.
Time will tell whether Moissanites will eventually be the preferred choice, and Greyscorff aims to be the #1 trusted source of Moissanite for Malaysia and the rest of South East Asia.
After all, Moissanites “shine brighter than a diamond”.
Balan Kash is a multitalented individual who has been a well-known figure in the Malaysian music scene for more than a decade. He is a trilingual award-winning rap musician, singer, songwriter, and performer. Over the course of his musical career, Balan has collaborated with artists like as Joe Flizzow, Reshmonu, Anirudh Ravichander, Santesh, and more. As of this writing, he has amassed over 20 million streams on digital platforms.
Having successfully tapped into the Kollywood and Tamil entertainment scene, Balan decided to set his sights on releasing ‘Terima Kasih’, his first Malay single for 2022. The upcoming single, which is a Cendana and My Creative grant-produced project, sees Balan collaborating with local Malaysian rocker, Hazama.
Balan’s first Malay single was written together with award-winning songwriting duo, Mambang and Navin ‘Navigator’ Kumar during the height of the Covid pandemic. The chorus to the song came from Balan trying to put his 2 year-old daughter to sleep one night, and the rest they say, is history.
‘’Terima Kasih’ is a raw, honest reflection of my life,” explains Balan. “It means more than just ‘Thank You’ to me. It’s that simple feeling of being able to wake up every day and still get to embrace it all – the good, the bad, the highs and the lows. It’s the sense of peace you get from just being grateful for it all.”
“I’ve seen the amazing work Balan has released over the years,” said Hazama. “I was definitely excited to work together with such a big name in the Tamil music scene. There are so many talented local names that don’t get their fair share of the limelight, just because they don’t sing and perform in Malay – but at the end of the day, we’re all Malaysians, and I hope to see even more cross-language collaborations like this in future.”
The music video for ‘Terima Kasih’ is based on key moments that shaped Balan’s life – from being a struggling indie artiste, to having a whole stadium singing along to his song, ‘Start That Thiruvizha’ at Anirudh’s concert. “It was through my love and passion for music, that I managed to meet and work with my idols and many other talented individuals,” adds Balan. “It was also through years of hustling and working hard for what I love, that I managed to bring food to the table for my family. ‘Terima Kasih’ represents who I am today, and how I know I have done my best not only as an artiste, but as a son, a father, a husband and a friend.”
‘Terima Kasih’ will be released by Believe Music on all major streaming platforms on December 16th. The music video will be released on December 20th on Balan’s music label, Third Eye Music’s YouTube page.

Selepas bercerai, saya muncul juara ‘The Masked Singer Malaysia’ musim kedua, Juara Lagu dengan SOG, tempat ketiga GV9 dan menjadi juri program ‘All Together Now’ musim kedua.
Disember jam 3.00 petang. https://youtube.com/watch?v=-lVoFgPDeYg&feature=shares
If you use social media frequently, you may have noticed that a particular Filipino song keeps appearing across different digital platforms. Zack Tabudlo, the Philippines’ newest star, has a smooth song called “Pano” that is poised to become another regional smash after making waves from his native country to Indonesia and all the way down to our Malaysian shores.
Throughout the years, Malaysians have been known to appreciate songs in countless Asian foreign languages thanks to the never-ending exposure to a variety of pop-culture products from our neighbours. And ‘Pano’ is the latest testament to this phenomenon.
The track’s haunting tune immediately captures the attention of listeners the moment it is played and somehow succeeds in getting repeated. This inexplicable magic of ‘Pano’ is yet another simple example of how Filipino music is easily accepted here in Malaysia.
Now a favourite on one of the world’s most popular social media applications TikTok, ‘Pano’ which means ‘how’ in Filipino looks destined to become Zack Tabudlo’s ticket to a wider fanbase beyond his home country.
Now that the song is trending in Malaysia, Zack shared his hopes for his new audience in the country.
“I’m looking forward to them hearing more songs in the future. Definitely more painful than Pano with more styles and genres that they will jive and bop to,” said Zack about this exciting development.
Discovered at the very tender age of 10 on a local Filipino reality show called Talentadong Pinoy, Zack continued to create ripples back home after being a contestant on The Voice Kids Philippines.
Being a part of the competition pushed him to form the youth singing group, Gravity, with his fellow contenders. With Zack as its frontman, Gravity’s ensemble released Imposible, a song about an unrequited love sung in a catchy pop beat. Aside from Gravity, Zack was also one half of the teen pop duo Zack and Fritz with fellow The Voice Kids alumna Eufritz Santos.
He began his solo music career in 2018, venturing not only in performing but also in songwriting and music production.
In 2020, Zack joined Island Records Philippines where he continued honing his identity as a musician. His singles Nangangamba, Cruel, Sigurado, Iyong Iyo, and Elizabeth are testaments of his evolving creative songwriting and production style. In fact Nangangamba has garnered more than 87 million streams while Sigurado surpassed 10 million.
In 2021, Zack released his global viral hit song Binibini which took him to an even bigger stage. This single had him reign at the top of the Spotify charts for six consecutive weeks, making it the longest-running #1 local track by a Filipino RADAR artist.
With over 112 Million streams on Spotify, Binibini also topped the Global Viral chart for four consecutive weeks. Spotify Philippines hailed Binibini as the most streamed song of 2021, with Nangangamba being the 2nd most streamed song.
Zack also released his debut album Episode and this single Pano during the last quarter of 2021. Pano also reigned at the top of the Spotify charts for nine consecutive weeks, breaking his previous record of six weeks with Binibini.
As of 2022, Zack’s debut album “Episode” has spent eighteen weeks at #1 on Spotify’s Weekly Top Albums in the Philippines, with over 1 Billion global streams and views.
Though a simple limerick of love, Pano which sings of a broken heart caused by the cruelty of being let go by a lover seems relatable, making it an instant hit among music fans.
To further entice his ardent followers, Zack took to his socials to announce that Pano is actually part of a bigger trilogy.
He then released a three-part music video entitled PANO: THE TRILOGY for his tracks ‘Anghel,’ ‘Yakap,’ and his chart-topping song ‘Pano.’ The trilogy stars Zack, along with Filipina actress Kira Balinger. The storyline revolves around the relationship between the two characters.
As an artist who continuously challenges convention, Zack is excited to create bigger things for his fans.
The young artist believes that keeping his feet on the ground means maintaining his footing as he continuously runs towards his dream–to conquer the world through music. Because for Zack Tabudlo, “music itself was the dream.”
