Accelerating EV Adoption: Bateriku and SVOLT Partner to Deliver Seamless After-Sales Service in Malaysia

In a major step toward solidifying Malaysia’s electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure, Bateriku has announced a strategic partnership with global battery manufacturer SVOLT Energy Technology Co. Ltd. The collaboration, formalized on 21 April 2026, aims to accelerate the development of a comprehensive EV after-sales support ecosystem, a move widely seen as essential to building consumer confidence in the transition toward sustainable mobility.

As Malaysia’s automotive industry undergoes a rapid shift toward electrification, the need for specialized maintenance and diagnostic services has become increasingly urgent. SVOLT, a leading supplier to global brands like Geely and Great Wall Motors, already has a significant footprint in the local market, with its high-performance battery technology currently powering the Proton e.MAS 5. This partnership will allow Bateriku to leverage SVOLT’s global expertise to expand its own service capabilities, focusing on advanced battery diagnostics, on-site technical assistance, and structured battery replacement procedures.

Beyond technical services, the alliance places a heavy emphasis on the development of local human capital. Through dedicated upskilling and training programs, the Bateriku ecosystem will equip its workforce with specialized skills in EV battery handling and diagnostics. This ensures that as the technology-driven automotive landscape grows, the local workforce remains at the forefront of innovation, prepared to meet the demands of modern vehicle owners.

The partnership was officially sealed during a ceremony at SVOLT’s facility in the Jintan District of China, attended by Yingtao Hao, Director of SVOLT, and Azarol Faizi, CEO of Bateriku. Highlighting the importance of the deal, Azarol Faizi remarked that the collaboration is not just about expansion, but about instilling long-term confidence in Malaysian EV owners by ensuring that reliable, fast, and efficient support is always within reach. Yingtao Hao echoed this sentiment, noting that the synergy between SVOLT’s battery technology and Bateriku’s extensive network will result in a safer and more seamless ownership experience. Together, these two industry leaders are set to act as a primary catalyst for Malaysia’s pursuit of a greener and more sustainable future.
