Anker Innovations has officially unveiled the Anker soundcore AeroClip 2, an open-ear earbud designed to solve the chronic call clarity issues inherent to non-sealing acoustic designs.
Traditional open-ear models struggle in loud environments because both the user’s voice and ambient noise enter external microphones as a single, mixed airborne signal. The AeroClip 2 tackles this limitation directly through a six-sensor hybrid array, pairing four high-SNR MEMS microphones with two Voice Pickup Units (VPUs) that capture mechanical vibrations straight from the wearer’s vocal cords, isolating speech mechanically from surrounding air disturbances.
Powering this real-time dual-signal inference is the proprietary THUS™ AI processor, which utilizes NOR Flash compute-in-memory (CIM) architecture to bypass the power-draining data transfer bottlenecks of legacy chip designs. Delivering roughly 150 times the AI computing power of the previous generation within a wearable form factor, the system enables an intelligent Whisper Mode capable of keeping calls intelligible even in noise exceeding 80 dB. Backed by objective benchmark testing, the technology secured an official Guinness World Records certification for the highest measured speech quality in open-ear clip-on earbuds.
Beyond voice clarity, the AeroClip 2 is engineered for everyday wearability and premium acoustics, featuring a flexible titanium C-bridge backed by over 2,000 3D ear scans alongside an IP57 dust and water resistance rating. It is equipped with a 12 mm dual-magnetic driver supporting LDAC and Hi-Res Audio Wireless, delivers up to 32 hours of total battery life with wireless charging support, and includes an onboard Phone-Free Mode for standalone playback. In Malaysia, the device retails at RM729 across official offline and online retail channels in four colorways: Midnight Black, Burgundy Red, Cloud White, and Mist Blue.
