Sunway Medical Centre Velocity (SMCV) has become the first hospital in Southeast Asia to introduce the comprehensive NORAV Clinical Management System, marking a significant milestone in the region’s digital healthcare transformation. The integrated platform centralises diagnostic information, enabling authorised healthcare professionals to securely access patient records and medical reports across the hospital. By streamlining clinical workflows, the system is designed to improve efficiency and support faster, more coordinated patient care. The NORAV Medical ECG Management System (NEMS) Web platform integrates six key diagnostic services into a single digital ecosystem: electrocardiogram (ECG), cardiac stress testing, pulmonary function testing (PFT), Holter monitoring, ambulatory blood pressure monitoring (ABPM), and ankle-brachial pressure index (ABPI) testing. Bringing these services together allows diagnostic information to be stored, shared and reviewed in real time, giving multidisciplinary medical teams quicker access to patient data for more informed treatment decisions. By reducing reliance on printed diagnostic reports, particularly ECG records, the hospital expects to cut ECG paper usage by up to 50 percent. This paper-light approach not only reduces environmental impact but also enhances resource management while maintaining secure and accessible patient information.
