Alliance Bank Malaysia Berhad has officially introduced its enhanced Alliance Bank Visa Virtual Credit Card (VCC), offering Malaysians a smarter and more secure way to make digital payments. Launched during the Alliance Bank x Sayang Green 2.0 activation at Sunway Pyramid, the upgraded VCC delivers a fully digital credit card experience with greater convenience, stronger security and instant rewards, reflecting the bank’s commitment to meeting the evolving needs of today’s digital consumers.

The enhanced VCC introduces several new features designed to improve the user experience. Cardholders can now enjoy instant reward redemption at the point of purchase across more than 60 participating merchants, replacing the traditional points collection system with immediate savings. In addition, the new Supplementary Visa Virtual Credit Card feature enables users to extend controlled spending access to family members while maintaining spending limits and full account visibility through the allianceonline mobile app.

Security remains a key focus of the enhanced VCC. The card is equipped with dynamic virtual card numbers that generate unique one-time or subscription-based card numbers for every transaction, helping to reduce the risk of online fraud. Other features include the ability to freeze or unfreeze the card instantly through the mobile app and Flexi Payment Plans of up to 12 months, giving cardholders greater flexibility and control over their spending.

To strengthen its consumer outreach, Alliance Bank also introduced two new ambassadors, Chan Fong and Perry Kuan, who will promote the benefits of the Visa Virtual Credit Card through lifestyle-focused campaigns. Both ambassadors highlighted the importance of secure, convenient and seamless digital payments in everyday life, reinforcing the VCC’s core values of being advanced, convenient and secure.

Customers can also enjoy a special promotion when purchasing Apple products at participating Machine, Switch, UR by Switch and Thunder Match outlets. Those who spend a minimum of RM3,000 using their Alliance Bank Visa Credit Card under the 0% Instalment Payment Plan will receive an instant RM200 discount, adding further value for consumers looking to upgrade their devices.

The launch also complements the Alliance Bank x Sayang Green 2.0 initiative, which encourages Malaysians to adopt more sustainable lifestyle habits. By eliminating the need for physical cards and paper-based processes, the enhanced Visa Virtual Credit Card supports environmentally responsible banking while providing a seamless digital experience. The initiative also features sustainable brands and interactive activities aimed at promoting conscious consumer choices.
