Soundcore has officially launched its new flagship wireless earbuds, the Liberty 5 Pro and Liberty 5 Pro Max, debuting the world’s first neural-net audio AI chip. Driven by this proprietary processor, known as the Thus™ AI chip, the new series introduces a highly advanced Compute-in-Memory architecture capable of delivering 150 times more AI computing power than the brand’s previous flagship audio products. By executing complex algorithmic calculations entirely on the hardware level, the earbuds achieve lightning-fast, real-time audio optimizations with heavily reduced energy consumption, eliminating any reliance on external servers or a constant internet connection.

This neural-net processing power has already secured a distinct industry benchmark for the series. The Liberty 5 Pro line has been officially certified by Guinness World Records for the “Highest speech quality score (G-MOS) for TWS earbuds,” a technical milestone verified by objective third-party testing against the international ETSI TS 103 106 speech quality standard.

Utilizing the native power of the neural chip and an upgraded Whisper-Clear Calls technology, the earbuds isolate human vocals from high-activity backdrops like moving trains and heavy city traffic. This communication suite is paired with an advanced active noise cancellation (ANC 4.0) system that deploys eight unified microphones to actively monitor surrounding acoustics, eliminating unwanted distractions while maintaining a natural listening environment.

The premium tier of the lineup, the Liberty 5 Pro Max, leverages this neural architecture to branch into advanced productivity tools. The device features a built-in AI Note Taker that automatically records, transcribes, and condenses meetings, lectures, or interviews in real time, syncing structured summaries across iOS, Android, Mac, and Windows via the soundcore app.

This workflow is managed by a 1.78-inch AMOLED touchscreen integrated directly into the charging case. The display allows users to operate the AI voice recorder, adjust noise cancellation profiles, and toggle soundcore’s multi-model “Signature Sound” entirely independent of a companion smartphone.

The rollout marks Anker Innovations’ physical retail expansion into Southeast Asia, celebrating the launch during “Anker Day” at its first boutique experience store in IOI City Mall, Malaysia. Retail pricing for the region has been confirmed at RM699 for the baseline Liberty 5 Pro, while the screen-equipped Liberty 5 Pro Max enters the premium segment at RM899. Both variants include an 18-month manufacturer’s warranty and are officially available for immediate purchase.
