    Kumpulan Mediwira, yang sebelum ini dikenali sebagai i-Sihat Group, secara rasmi melancarkan jenama baharu mereka bersama pembukaan klinik perubatan terbaharu di Johor, di samping pengumuman pusat rawatan medispa yang bakal dilancarkan bulan hadapan. Pelancaran ini menandakan fasa baharu pertumbuhan kumpulan penjagaan kesihatan tersebut yang kini mengendalikan 21 klinik dan pusat rawatan merentasi Malaysia, merangkumi klinik perubatan, klinik pergigian serta pusat medispa yang semakin berkembang. Dengan pelan pengembangan strategik yang agresif, Mediwira menyasarkan sekurang-kurangnya 25 cawangan menjelang akhir tahun ini, sebelum mencapai sasaran jangka panjang sebanyak 100 cawangan menjelang 2030, sekali gus mengukuhkan kedudukan mereka sebagai antara rangkaian penjagaan kesihatan tempatan yang paling pesat berkembang.

    Pertumbuhan ini sejajar dengan peningkatan permintaan terhadap perkhidmatan kesihatan di Malaysia yang didorong oleh pelbagai faktor termasuk peningkatan populasi warga emas, kes penyakit kronik tidak berjangkit (NCD), serta perkembangan sektor pelancongan perubatan yang dijangka menyumbang kepada pertumbuhan industri kesihatan negara sehingga mencecah USD30 bilion menjelang 2027. Pengumuman tersebut dibuat semasa majlis pelancaran rasmi di Johor yang turut diserikan dengan kehadiran YB Tuan Hassan Abdul Karim, Ahli Parlimen Pasir Gudang, yang menzahirkan sokongan terhadap peranan sektor klinik swasta dalam melengkapkan sistem kesihatan awam dan memastikan akses rawatan yang lebih meluas kepada rakyat.

    Mediwira yang diasaskan pada tahun 2012 sebagai i-Sihat oleh rakan kongsi perubatan termasuk Dr Nandagobala, Dr Ratna, Dr Mok Chi Chien dan Dr Lavan, kini tampil dengan identiti baharu yang lebih segar dan berfokus kepada peranan sebagai “wira penjagaan kesihatan”. Menurut Dr Nanda, penjenamaan semula ini mencerminkan komitmen kumpulan dalam menyediakan penjagaan berkualiti kepada rakyat Malaysia, dengan rekod lebih setengah juta pesakit yang telah menerima rawatan sepanjang 14 tahun operasi mereka, menjadikan setiap klinik Mediwira sebagai ruang perkhidmatan yang berteraskan kepercayaan dan penjagaan berpanjangan.

    Selain pengembangan perniagaan, Mediwira turut memperkenalkan inisiatif tanggungjawab sosial korporat (CSR) melalui program Food Aid yang menyasarkan bantuan makanan dan keperluan asas kepada sekurang-kurangnya 10 keluarga setiap bulan. Dalam pelaksanaan awal program ini, 15 keluarga telah menerima bantuan bernilai RM120 setiap satu, mencerminkan komitmen syarikat dalam menyokong kesejahteraan komuniti setempat. Ketika ini, rangkaian Mediwira merangkumi 12 klinik pergigian, 7 klinik perubatan dan 2 pusat medispa di seluruh negara, khususnya di Lembah Klang, Johor dan Sabah, dengan perkhidmatan merangkumi rawatan am, pediatrik, kesihatan wanita, vaksinasi, pengurusan penyakit kronik, pergigian estetik, ortodontik serta rawatan estetik berasaskan perubatan di bawah pengawasan doktor.

    Dengan pelancaran jenama baharu ini, Mediwira bukan sahaja memperkukuh kedudukan dalam industri penjagaan kesihatan tempatan, malah menegaskan aspirasi untuk menjadi rangkaian kesihatan yang lebih inklusif, mudah diakses dan berfokus kepada komuniti, selaras dengan visi jangka panjang mereka untuk mencapai 100 cawangan menjelang 2030.

    Prudential BSN Takaful Berhad (PruBSN), Malaysia’s leading family takaful operator for 12 consecutive years, has strengthened its collaboration with KPJ Healthcare Berhad (KPJ Healthcare) through the PruBSN x KPJ Healthcare Wellness Event held on 15 November 2025 at Damansara Specialist Hospital 2 (DSH2). The event reflected the enduring partnership between both organisations in widening access to quality healthcare and encouraging healthier lifestyles among Malaysians. In line with the promotion of PRUPanel Plus, the initiative focuses on expanding healthcare benefits for PruBSN medical certificate holders and KPJ customers across the country.

    PRUPanel Plus comprises 60 selected panel hospitals nationwide that have formed strategic partnerships with PruBSN, with plans for expansion every two years to further broaden accessibility and strengthen healthcare options. These hospitals offer exclusive privileges to PruBSN medical certificate holders, including deposit and administrative fee waivers during admissions, special gifts, engagement opportunities, and access to quality medical treatment. While the offerings may differ by hospital, all PRUPanel Plus partners are united in their mission to make healthcare more accessible and to elevate the customer experience.

    Through collaborations with reputable healthcare providers such as KPJ Healthcare, PruBSN aims to ensure timely, high-quality medical services while minimising financial strain on customers. All 30 KPJ hospitals nationwide are currently recognised as PruBSN panel hospitals, with 18 designated as PRUPanel Plus facilities. PRUPanel Plus forms part of PruBSN’s broader Health Pillar, which emphasises delivering enhanced healthcare experiences through strategic partnerships.

    PruBSN Officer-in-Charge, Kelvin Wong, said that health has evolved beyond a product category to become a core strategic pillar for the organisation. As Malaysians face rising medical costs and increasing chronic health conditions, PruBSN’s role extends beyond offering protection. He highlighted the introduction of The Peace-of-Mind Plan, reaffirming the company’s promise to its four million customers in Malaysia and reinforcing its commitment to assist individuals when they need support the most.

    Chin Keat Chyuan, President and Managing Director of KPJ Healthcare, expressed that the partnership aligns with KPJ Healthcare’s purpose of providing communities with greater confidence when seeking care. He emphasised the organisation’s commitment to timely treatment, clear care pathways, and supportive experiences across its network.     The Wellness Event marked the final stop of a nationwide roadshow that began in the northern region at Ipoh Specialist Hospital, continued to the southern region at Bandar Dato’ Onn Specialist Hospital, and proceeded to the east coast at KPJ Perdana. The one-day programme at DSH2 brought together customers, healthcare professionals, and families to promote healthier living, offering complimentary health screenings, educational health talks, PRUPanel Plus advocacy sessions, and family-friendly activities including a colouring contest for children.

In 2024, the company paid RM1.2 billion in claims covering personal accidents, medical treatments, critical illnesses, total permanent disability, and death. Each claim represents a personal story and real-life challenges faced by families, underscoring PruBSN’s dedication to being present when support is needed most.

    To ensure customers receive the best possible care, PruBSN works closely with healthcare professionals so that clinical decisions remain in the hands of doctors, while the organisation focuses on confirming coverage according to certificate terms.
