REWORK.COM INTRODUCES AGENTIC OS TO HELP MALAYSIAN BUSINESSES EMBRACE THE INTELLIGENCE AGE

KUALA LUMPUR, 15 September 2026 – The next phase of artificial intelligence (AI) adoption could see AI move beyond being a supporting tool to becoming an active participant in business operations. Addressing this shift, global technology company Rework.com has launched its Agentic Operating System (Agentic OS) for Business in Malaysia, bringing people, AI agents, business information and workflows together on a connected platform.

With more than one million users across 12,000 companies, Rework believes businesses need to rethink their approach to AI as the technology becomes increasingly capable of carrying out tasks. Rather than treating AI as a collection of standalone applications, Agentic OS is designed to embed AI within the wider operating environment of an organisation.

The platform is particularly relevant as Malaysian companies accelerate their digital transformation efforts. MDEC recorded RM87.4 billion in digital investments in 2025, highlighting continued momentum in the country’s digital economy. At the same time, a Strand Partners report indicates that 67% of AI adopters in Malaysia continue to rely mainly on basic applications such as chatbots, while only 19% have a formal strategy for scaling AI across multiple functions.

According to Eric Pham, Founder and CEO of Rework.com, businesses need more than access to AI models to fully benefit from the technology. He said organisations require infrastructure that allows AI to move from fragmented tools into the way work is actually performed.

Rework’s Agentic OS aims to provide that infrastructure through two core layers. The first, Intelligence Architecture, connects the intelligence underpinning the organisation and includes business outputs, organisational knowledge and a multi-agent AI stack featuring Service AI, AI Assistant, AI Desktop and Workflow AI.

The second layer, Business Services, connects hundreds of operating services across different areas of the business. These cover marketing, sales, work management, people operations and communications, allowing AI agents to access the context and capabilities needed to support day-to-day business activities.

Among the available services are lead monitoring and nurturing, customer engagement, campaign management, sales pipeline management, quotes and orders, project management, business processes, employee services, payroll, chat, meetings and organisation-wide communication.

Rework also highlights the concept of organisational intelligence, referring to the ability of businesses to capture and reuse their operating knowledge, decisions, processes, customer history and accumulated experience. The company believes this knowledge can become increasingly valuable as AI models and capabilities become more widely accessible.

The launch event in Kuala Lumpur brought together around 150 senior business leaders, with the programme featuring keynote presentations, product demonstrations and customer success stories. Rework’s Agentic OS for Business is now available in Malaysia.
