Mercure Kuala Lumpur Glenmarie, a proud member of Accor’s globally recognized hospitality brands, is set to welcome guests with the return of its highly anticipated Ramadan Buffet Sajian Darul Ehsan Vol. 3. Taking place from 23 February to 19 March 2026 at WARNA All Day Dining, this cherished iftar experience offers a warm celebration of Selangor’s culinary heritage, combining familiar flavors, shared stories, and moments of togetherness. According to Puvan Abdullah, General Manager of Mercure Kuala Lumpur Glenmarie, the buffet reflects the hotel’s dedication to creating meaningful experiences that feel genuine, connecting guests to the essence of local culture while fostering heartfelt memories during the holy month.

The buffet presents a culinary journey across Selangor’s nine districts, featuring appetizers and salads crafted from fresh, pesticide-free produce from Klang and traditional local leaves like ceylom, ulam raja, pegaga, and heart of banana. Classic condiments such as sambal belacan, sambal tempoyak, and sambal kicap complement regional starters including acar buah, kerabu pucuk paku, rojak Klang, and Selayang-style cold cuts. Guests can also enjoy street-food favorites inspired by Selangor’s Ramadan bazaars, such as crispy fritters, karipap, cekodok manis, ubi getuk, and assorted local keropok, evoking nostalgia and comfort.

At the heart of the buffet are signature dishes representing the culinary identity of each district—from Gombak’s satay ayam dan daging, rendang, punten Jawa, and sambal taun berkuah, to Sabak Bernam’s communal Nasi Ambeng, Klang’s Siakap Purbakala and grilled seafood, Kuala Selangor’s soto Jawa, Petaling’s chicken shawarma wraps, Hulu Langat’s kambing salai and ayam panggang, Kuala Langat’s live Char Kway Teow and DIY noodle stations, Sepang’s gulai kawah daging and bubur lambuk, and Hulu Selangor’s roti canai, murtabak, and roti John. The main courses rotate daily, offering classic Selangor dishes such as nasi kukus, nasi jeera, ayam masak ros, daging masak lemak, ikan goreng masam manis, sambal kerang, and seasonal vegetables. Live grill and action stations ensure freshly prepared delights throughout the evening.

The feast concludes with traditional desserts and refreshments, featuring wadai kipeng, a live apam balik station, assorted kuih-muih Melayu, aneka bubur manis, cendol, ABC, local fruits, jajan, ice creams, and Air Balang selections. Executive Chef Zaharullail Ashari explains that each dish honors Selangor’s culinary heritage while remaining approachable, encouraging guests to savor every course as a celebration of togetherness and heritage. The buffet is priced at RM158+ per adult, RM98+ for senior citizens, and RM68+ for children, with early bird and special deals available, making it ideal for families, friends, and corporate gatherings.

To enhance the festive experience, live music by Soul Shadow, a photo booth, and a lucky draw create a lively, welcoming atmosphere. Guests can also elevate their Ramadan with the hotel’s Staycation Promotion, starting from RM268+ per room with iftar for one, or RM366+ per room with iftar for two, including optional sahur breakfast.
