In a move to strengthen Malaysia’s global business presence, Warah Sendayu Resources Sdn Bhd (WSR) and Wawasanita Malaysia successfully concluded a strategic business mission to Hong Kong aimed at creating new opportunities for Malaysian brands.

The delegation, led by Wawasanita Malaysia President Datin Dr. Norli Hj. Alias together with WSR Chief Executive Officer Mr. Kumares Chandra Kumar and Chief Financial Officer Mr. Vikram Chandra Kumar, engaged with key stakeholders to explore international trade and export development.

One of the mission’s highlights was a meeting with MATRADE Hong Kong Trade Commissioner Ms. Intan Zalani, where discussions centred on expanding market access, strengthening export capabilities, and supporting Malaysian companies seeking international growth.

Mr. Kumares Chandra Kumar said Malaysia possesses significant potential to become a global supplier of innovative consumer, health, and wellness products, adding that collaboration with MATRADE and industry partners is vital in helping businesses expand beyond domestic borders.

Datin Dr. Norli Hj. Alias shared her confidence in the capabilities of Malaysian entrepreneurs and expressed hope that stronger international partnerships would continue to create sustainable growth for local businesses.

The delegation also thanked MATRADE Hong Kong for its continued support and acknowledged the Malaysia MADANI Government and various stakeholders for their ongoing efforts in promoting Malaysian businesses internationally.

The mission serves as another important milestone in WSR and Wawasanita’s efforts to strengthen global partnerships while positioning Malaysian products as competitive players in international markets.
