Huawei Malaysia Introduces AI Campus Network White Paper to Accelerate Intelligent Digital Transformation

Huawei Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (Huawei Malaysia), together with leading industry organisations, has unveiled a new technical white paper aimed at supporting Malaysia’s transition towards intelligent digital infrastructure. Titled “High-Quality 10 Gbps AI Campus Network Technical and Standard White Paper”, the document was launched during the Huawei Malaysia IP Club 2026 conference, providing a framework to guide organisations in developing next-generation campus networks that are ready to support the growing adoption of artificial intelligence (AI).

As AI moves beyond pilot projects and becomes increasingly integrated into enterprise operations, organisations across various industries are facing greater demands for faster, more secure and intelligent network infrastructure. The newly launched white paper serves as an industry reference that outlines technical standards, best practices and implementation guidance for building high-quality AI campus networks. Its framework focuses on ultra-fast wireless connectivity, end-to-end security and autonomous network operations to help organisations establish a stronger digital foundation for the intelligent era.

The white paper was unveiled by Ir Dr Bernard Lim, Chair of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Malaysia Section; Professor Emeritus Dr Sureswaran Ramadass, Chairman of the APAC IPv6 Council; Du Xianjun, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Enterprise Business Group, Huawei Malaysia; Leon Lv, Director of Huawei APAC Enterprise Network Marketing & Solution Sales Department; and Jay Wu, Vice President of Huawei Malaysia Enterprise Marketing & Solution.

During the conference, Du Xianjun reaffirmed Huawei Malaysia’s commitment to its “In Malaysia, For Malaysia” approach, highlighting the country’s rapid progress towards the AI era. He noted that sectors including finance, education, government and smart campuses increasingly require network infrastructure that is faster, smarter and more reliable to support their digital transformation ambitions.

David Chen, Director of Huawei Campus Network Solution Product, also introduced Huawei’s Xinghe Intelligent Campus Network Solution, which integrates AI-powered networking, high-speed wireless connectivity, Full-Scope Security and Autonomous Driving Network (ADN) capabilities. The solution is designed to help organisations improve digital productivity while creating future-ready campuses that can adapt to evolving technological demands.

The importance of cybersecurity was further highlighted by Victor Lapian, Chief Technology Officer of Huawei Asia-Pacific (APAC), who shared Huawei’s vision for Full-Scope Security. The approach emphasises integrated protection across digital and physical environments, enabling organisations to establish campus networks that are secure, resilient and trusted as they become increasingly dependent on connected technologies and AI-driven services.

The conference also featured real-world experiences from organisations that have embarked on their own digital transformation journeys. Representatives from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Sunway Education Group and Institut Aminuddin Baki (IAB) shared their experiences in deploying Huawei’s campus networking solutions. Their insights demonstrated how intelligent campus networks can contribute to improved operational efficiency, enhanced user experiences and faster digital transformation across educational institutions.

Adding to the event was an interactive showcase featuring 31 demonstration screens covering solutions for the education, finance and government sectors. Huawei and its ecosystem partners presented joint solutions while engaging customers in technical discussions on the latest developments in AI-powered campus networks and intelligent digital infrastructure.

Through the new white paper and continued collaboration with customers, partners and industry stakeholders, Huawei Malaysia aims to encourage wider adoption of high-quality AI-ready campus networks across the country. As Malaysia advances towards a more connected and intelligent digital economy, the initiative highlights the growing importance of robust network infrastructure in enabling organisations to harness AI, strengthen productivity and support long-term digital transformation.
