Accor and Tropicana Sign Hotel Management Agreement for Mercure Living Genting Highlands

Accor, a global hospitality leader, and Tropicana Corporation Berhad (“Tropicana”), one of Malaysia’s leading property developers, have signed a hotel management agreement for Mercure Living Genting Highlands. This strategic collaboration brings together Accor’s global hospitality expertise with Tropicana’s experience in integrated township development to introduce a new extended-stay hospitality concept in one of Malaysia’s most popular highland destinations.

The partnership marks another important milestone for Tropicana as the company continues to expand its hospitality portfolio while creating new recurring income opportunities. Through this collaboration, homeowners will gain access to a professionally managed branded hospitality asset supported by Accor’s international standards, operational expertise and global loyalty ecosystem.

Mercure Living Genting Highlands will be integrated into TwinPines Serviced Suites at Tropicana Grandhill, a 112-acre wellness-focused precinct within the 596-acre Tropicana WindCity township in Genting Highlands. Scheduled to open in 2028, the development will feature 1,443 fully furnished suites designed to cater to the needs of long-stay guests, leisure travellers and homeowners seeking a comfortable highland lifestyle.

The introduction of the Mercure brand further strengthens Tropicana WindCity’s position as a premium destination that combines wellness, lifestyle and hospitality. Located within Tropicana Grandhill, the development forms part of Tropicana WindCity, an integrated township spanning 596 acres across three freehold precincts.
