The award presentation took place during the HONOR X9d 5G Roadshow at IOI Mall Puchong, where Gillian Ooi and Eldrick Koh, Managing Directors of ASEAN Records, presented the accolade to Tan Pei Ling, Head of Channel Sales at HONOR Malaysia. The event marked a significant moment for the brand, celebrating not only its current success but also its ongoing commitment to innovation in the mobile industry.
Since making its debut in Malaysia in 2022, the HONOR X9 Series has maintained impressive performance across both retail and online channels. Designed with durability, strength, and high performance in mind, the series quickly became a consumer favorite. Its market share in the mid-range category has surged from 33% in 2023 to 56% in 2025, meaning that one in every two mid-range smartphones sold in Malaysia now belongs to the HONOR X9 Series a testament to its market dominance.
HONOR X9a, X9b, X9c and newly launched X9d
Adding to this success, the newly introduced HONOR X9d 5G has already made waves by selling out during its pre-order phase, surpassing the achievements of its predecessor, the X9c. This milestone reinforces HONOR’s strong foothold in the competitive mid-range smartphone market as the X9d 5G officially launches nationwide.
The HONOR X9d 5G is now available across Malaysia, offering users 24GB RAM (including 12GB HONOR Turbo RAM) and 256GB storage at RM1,499, while the 512GB variant is priced at RM1,699.
