This year, the Poolside Terrace at Kelab Golf Negara Subang (KGNS) is thrilled to present Bufet Citarasa Warisan, an extensive and exciting buffet offering a rich variety of Malay, Western, and Arabic-inspired dishes. Running from 4th to 27th March 2025, in celebration of the holy month of Ramadan, this buffet promises to deliver authentic heritage flavours and beloved traditional dishes to delight every guest.
The preview of Bufet Citarasa Warisan was held at the Poolside Terrace, KGNS, on the evening of 15th February. The event provided a sneak peek at the carefully curated selections that will be available during Ramadan, featuring an impressive spread of 70 dishes, served daily from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
This year’s buffet experience at Poolside Terrace is designed to evoke a warm, festive atmosphere, reminiscent of a traditional Malay kenduri. Guests can look forward to a vibrant setting filled with cultural décor and music, along with an exceptional selection of both Malay and Western dishes. The standout items include the famous Biryani Specials from Poolside Terrace Café, crafted with a treasured family recipe passed down through generations. The biryani’s unique spice paste, made in-house by the chef, ensures every bite is bursting with rich flavours.
In addition to the biryani, diners can indulge in the Kambing Golek (roasted lamb), freshly grilled satay, and delightful kid-friendly options. For those seeking traditional festive delicacies, the buffet also features Lemang and Ketupat, bringing the joy and spirit of Hari Raya to the celebration.
This year’s Bufet Citarasa Warisan showcases approximately 70 exquisite dishes, blending timeless classics with new creations, designed to celebrate Malaysia’s diverse culinary heritage. Sharing these delectable dishes with family, friends, or colleagues creates an unforgettable communal dining experience that embodies the warmth of traditional Malaysian culture.
At the helm of this incredible culinary experience is Chef Azman bin Rogi Khan, a skilled chef with nine years of experience in the F&B industry. Though he initially studied Information Technology at MSU, Chef Azman’s passion for food led him to embark on a culinary journey at the age of 18. By 22, he had fully committed himself to mastering the art of Malay and Middle Eastern cuisine.
As the Director of AAHR Catering Enterprise and AAHR Management SB, Chef Azman manages five cafeterias under his leadership, showcasing his expertise in delivering exceptional dining experiences. He has had the privilege of catering for prestigious clients, including the Royal Family of Negeri Sembilan, PETRONAS, and SPNB (Syarikat Perumahan Negara Berhad). In recognition of his exceptional skills, Chef Azman was even honoured by the Royal Family of Negeri Sembilan as “The Best Caterer”.
Among Chef Azman’s remarkable specialties, his Nasi Biryani stands out as a true masterpiece. Prepared with a traditional homemade biryani spice paste, this dish promises an unforgettable dining experience, with each mouthful filled with rich flavours and premium quality ingredients. This signature dish will be available throughout the entire buffet dinner period, allowing guests to enjoy it during every visit.
