TONTON TO LIVE STREAM 2022 MAMA AWARDS

The 2022 MAMA AWARDS, the most anticipated K-POP award show in the world, will once again be live streamed by Tonton on November 29 and 30, (Tuesday and Wednesday, Malaysian time), at 3 p.m.

According to Tonton Chief Operating Officer, Amir Rasyidi Johari, “2022 MAMA AWARDS is truly an annual event that K-Pop fans around the world anticipate for. Our Tonton team feels extremely honoured to have been given the live streaming rights again this year for the World’s No.1 K-POP Awards. This year highlights a stunning host lineup that will make fans excited such as Ahn Hyun Mo, Nam Yoon Su, Gabee, Jeon Somi, AIKI and also Park Bo-gum. Devoted fans of the Korean music industry would also not need to worry as we will broadcast this exciting event for 5 hours continuously for free. The only thing viewers need to do is sit back and relax with friends and family along with a box of popcorn at hand!”

The prestigious 2022 MAMA AWARDS will be held in Kyocera Dome Osaka, Japan on the 29 and 30 November. That is not all, as viewers can also anticipate the red carpet ceremony live on Tonton from 3.00 pm to 5.00 pm. With 18 contending categories and numerous star-studded artists competing, viewers can catch the main award which will begin soon after, streaming live from 5.00 pm to 8.00 pm. 

The host lineup for both days consists of fan-favourite Korean celebrities that you would not want to miss. On the first day for 2022 MAMA AWARDS, the red carpet ceremony will be hosted by Ahn Hyun Mo, Nam Yoon Su and Gabee, as well as Jeon Somi who will be hosting the award night. Meanwhile, the second day of the event will feature Ahn Hyun Mo, Nam Yoon Su and AIKI as red carpet hosts, with singer cum handsome actor Park Bo-gum as host for the award night.
