FASHION AND INNOVATION COMBINED: UCSI DESIGNERS SHINE AT THE 5G LAUNCHING OF VIVO V29

It represented the exciting release of vivo Malaysia’s newest model, the vivo V29 5G. For an exclusive fashion show session at the V29 5G launch event, vivo Malaysia collaborated with the UCSI Fashion Design Faculty to highlight the thriving network of budding designers in Malaysia.

The vivo V29 5G smartphone, adorned with a captivating starry purple colour option, draws inspiration from the beauty of the milky way and features a stunning gradient purple tint. To highlight this aesthetic, talented students from UCSI immersed themselves in the starry purple allure of the vivo V29 5G, creating magnificent clothing designs inspired by this enchanting palette.

These aspiring designers poured months of creativity and hard work into crafting their masterpieces, drawing on the elegance and charm of the vivo V29 5G. Their exceptional designs were showcased on the runway at the launch event, captivating the audience and adding a unique dimension to vivo V29 5G reveal.

Lucas Lim, the head of Marketing and Event of UCSI as well as representative of UCSI’s Fashion & Design Faculty, expressed pride in his students’ artwork and conveyed gratitude to vivo Malaysia for the collaboration. He appreciated the opportunity given to the young students to showcase their creations in front of approximately 800 guests. He also looks forward to potential future collaborations with vivo Malaysia, aiming for more impactful ventures.
