    Setiap dugaan dan cabaran akan dibalas dengan pahala bagi setiap umat Islam yang bersabar dan redha dengan keadaan yang telah ditakdirkan oleh Allah. Tema Seindah Kasih dipilih sebagai satu pesanan kepada umat Islam supaya sentiasa bersyukur dengan apa yang dinikmati terutamanya selepas mengharungi pelbagai ujian ketika memerangi wabak COVID-19 dan bencana alam yang telah meragut nyawa dan merosakkan harta benda. Mari kita sama-sama bersedekah secara ikhlas dan memberi sinar kebahagiaan kepada golongan yang lebih memerlukan.

    Seindah Kasih menampilkan Mimi Lana, Anas Ridzuan, Siti Saleha, Luqman Hafidz, Shasha Abedul, Meerqeen, Anna Jobling, Ruhainies, Daniel Fong, Ain Edruce dan Ejen Ali sebagai wajah kempen. Selain itu, kempen tersebut juga melancarkan lagu tema Seindah Kasih yang dinyanyikan oleh Bil Musa dan Aqmal Ramdan, naib juara Terpaling Juara.

    Hari ini, kempen Seindah Kasih dilancarkan menerusi siaran langsung program The Seindah Kasih Show di TV3 dan Tonton yang dihoskan oleh Fizi Ali dan Fiza Frizzy, dimeriahkan dengan kehadiran barisan selebriti popular seperti Meerqeen, Anna Jobling, Ruhainies, Daniel Fong, Fedtri Yahya, Anas Ridzuan, Mimi Lana, Luqman Hafidz, Shasha Abedul, Dato’ Chef Ismail, Michael Ang dan Ustaz Tarmizi serta persembahan nyanyian hebat daripada Aina Abdul, Ernie Zakri, Hael Husaini dan Rahmad Mega.

    YUNA RETURNS WITH ‘MENANTI’

    The Malay saying “sirih pulang ke gagang” perfectly characterises Yuna, a Malaysian-born worldwide musician who hasn’t released a Malay song in seven years. She makes a triumphant comeback with the emotional ballad “MENANTI,” written and produced entirely by Yuna with half-Malaysian singer-songwriter, rapper, and music producer Kenny J Macartney.

    “Gosh, I’ve lost track of time! It’s been 7 years since my last Malay-language single.

    As a music-maker, my inspiration comes in slowly and that’s something that can’t be forced upon. In the last 7 years, I’ve been putting a lot of my time in making my past albums such as ‘Chapters’, then it was ‘Rouge’, and my latest offering, ‘Y5’, in which for each album I had to prepare to go on promotional tours, and then the COVID-19 pandemic happened, it’s a lot,” explained Yuna, whose real name is Yunalis Mat Zara’ai, 36.

    Yuna’s home away from home, Los Angeles, America is where she is settled currently prefers to take things slow and steady before working on the next project, and now she has her sights on her latest Malay single and her upcoming Malay EP that will be launched soon.

    “Apart from producing the single and EP, I too want to focus on being with family and can’t wait to celebrate Eid together. After the pandemic ended, in August 2021, my husband and I returned to Los Angeles after about 18 months being in Malaysia, and we went to a place called Joshua Tree to write some songs and that’s how MENANTI first started.

    “At that time, MENANTI wasn’t wholly produced yet and just the melody, fast-forward to 2023, as I was going through some old files, I came across the melody and began writing the lyrics, at first I wanted to write something in English but what came out was in Malay, so as a result MENANTI was born.

    The single is a love song about longing for someone who is far away, someone who is already gone but will always be a part of your life and will stay in your heart forever, a vow to always wait for this person whom you love very much.

    “This one for me is personal, as I was writing the lyrics, I couldn’t think of anybody else but my late cousin Amy whom I was very close with, she was my bestie, and her untimely passing still saddens me. My world crumbles whenever I think about the fact that she is no longer around. So naturally, that sadness was poured into it, and when I presented the song to my friends, they told me they felt a sense of sadness upon hearing it although it’s a love song,” Yuna explained.

    For Yunationals (Yuna’s fans), this is the answer they have been waiting for from Yuna, she said, “It’s hard to make promises to fans in Malaysia every year because of my commitments in LA, after all I want to produce something I’m proud of for them, rather than putting something out there just for the sake for it, you know, and it wouldn’t be fair as well. It’s very hard to do well in both countries at the same time, and I don’t believe in multi-tasking as it was a mistake I’ve made in the past. Now I realized when I have a focus I get to achieve a lot of things such as receiving the ‘Gold Record’ form RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) for ‘Crush’ featuring Usher, and also the opportunity to work with other artists like Tyler The Creator, G-Eazy and Pink Sweats.

    At first listen, the 3:05-minute song clearly reminds us of Yuna’s one-of-a-kind signature sound, but there is something different in the music arrangement that feels current with a modern ‘Malaysianize’ element, in-line with her status as an international singer.

    Yuna shares about the making of her soon-to-be-released Malay single and upcoming Malay EP, “It took me 2 months to produce the song and it was done at home in LA, I have a home studio, so it’s quite easy for me.

    As an artist who has been abroad for a long time, she has gone through it all thus those life-changing experiences have shaped her into becoming the person she is today, Yuna shared, “I think I’m more certain of myself as a person now than ever, before, I used to take things way too seriously, but now I’m more relaxed. I’ve achieved things that were beyond my expectations, despite the challenges and criticisms I faced.

    “I am proud of myself for pursuing my dreams rather than to impress people, I used to be a workaholic which turned out bad for me, so now I’m more focused on doing work that matters, and then take a break to focus on what’s most important which are my health, family and life.

    Who would have thought that the song ‘Dan Sebenarnya’ is 15 years old today, Yuna is back with her latest single and a Malay EP that will be released towards the end of April this year.

    “I hope this song will remind you of a loved one when you listen to it, and don’t forget to check out my EP dropping in very soon with a mixture of folk and R&B, so please watch this space!” Yuna ended gleefully.

    A new product update for the highly desired premium Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV) is unveiled. It includes a new design language for the luxury class, as well as a variety of digital services and assistance technologies. Today, BMW Malaysia introduced the New BMW X7 xDrive40i Pure Excellence to the Malaysian market. The vehicle, which the premium automaker has dubbed The President and now has more advanced digitalization capabilities and a sophisticated design, raises the bar for sheer driving pleasure in the premium SAV segment.

    Hans de Visser, Managing Director of BMW Group Malaysia said, “Luxury has always been progressive for us at the BMW Group, and with every turn of the tide, we refine and redefine the meaning of luxury across our most sophisticated portfolio. The New BMW X7 is testament to this, arriving as an exemplification of progressive luxury – one that offers pure performance, aesthetics and driving excellence.”

    The New BMW X7 features a significantly refined appearance, courtesy of a new front design with split headlights, reflecting BMW’s new luxury class design language. Notably, the interior – with the BMW Curved Display and Operating System 8 – has been revised to provide superior connectivity, as well as a wide range of digital services and assistance systems. The six-seater configuration with individual captain seats in the second row maximises passenger comfort, while driving experience is elevated with the new 48-Volt mild hybrid petrol engine.

    Distinctive design for maximum impact.

    Arriving with the Pure Excellence package, the refined frontal appearance of the New BMW X7 distinguishes the luxury SAV from its predecessors as it presents split twin LED headlights with separate units serving distinct functions — daytime running lights and indicators at the top. The front apron also has a new design, with powerfully sculpted surfaces housing a new double-slat kidney grille design and two eye-catching chrome elements as frames for its central air intake. This modern front design marks the New BMW X7 as an unmistakeable member of the BMW luxury class, setting it apart from its predecessor and underscoring its position as the flagship BMW X model.

    From the side, short overhangs, a long wheelbase, and elongated lines define the silhouette of the New BMW X7, complemented by roof rails, exterior line in satinated aluminium and sleek light alloy wheels that flank the luxury SAV.

    At the rear, the three-dimensional taillights of the New BMW X7 come with a completely redesigned internal graphics layout that includes a new position for the reversing lights. Another new feature is the glass-covered chrome strip connecting the two taillights, which further emphasises the width of the luxury SAV.  In addition, the high ground clearance provides a commanding vantage point to the New BMW X7.

    Innovative, sophisticated, and spacious interior.

    The BMW Curved Display, featuring a 12.3-inch Information Display and 14.9-inch high-resolution touchscreen Control Display as standard, gives the interior of the New BMW X7 an exclusive, more digital cockpit ambience. The instrument panel appears significantly lower with discreetly integrated air vents, while the outer air vents are framed by sophisticated chrome elements. Further enhancing the premium ambience of the luxury SAV is the ‘Lindenwood Fineline’ fine wood trim, sport leather steering wheel and M Headliner ‘Alcantara’ anthracite.

    The Ambient Light Strip below the interior trim finisher makes for another visual highlight in the New BMW X7. It is backlit and creates a special appearance of spatial depth with its crystalline looks and prismatic structure. As standard, the Ambient Light also includes the Welcome Light Carpet for the entrance areas on the left and right. The Crafted Clarity trim with handmade elements made from cut crystal glass perfectly complements the Ambient Light Strip, which displays an “X7” designation on the passenger side.

    The New BMW X7 now also offers a spacious six-seater configuration with two comfortable individual seats in the second row. Seats also feature the new Sensafin upholstery with decorative stitching as standard, complementing the BMW Group’s ambitions for sustainability. Additionally, the large panoramic glass roof provides a brighter and airier interior ambience. As for luggage capacity, the New BMW X7 provides up to 750 litres of boot space with its third-row seat folded down.

    Driving pleasure in its purest form.

    The New BMW X7 is offered with a petrol engine paired with xDrive all-wheel drive and an 8-Speed Steptronic Sport transmission. The luxury SAV also features a new mild-hybrid technology with a 48-Volt starter generator for even better efficiency and dynamics. The in-line six mild hybrid engine is capable of a 250 km/h top speed, delivering 375hp (280kW) and 540 Nm of torque. This allows the luxury SAV to achieve the century sprint quicker, in just 5.8s compared to its predecessor’s 6.1s.

    Alongside that, the New BMW X7 comes with a double-wishbone front axle, a five-link rear axle and a two-axle air suspension complete with automatic level control as standard. This concept ensures an outstanding range of driving characteristics, from superb ride comfort to the type of dynamic handling customers have come to expect from the brand. Furthermore, the Integral Active Steering ensures maximum manoeuvrability at low speeds and particularly agile handling in the medium speed range by adding rear-wheel steering. Enhancing the SAV’s comfortable interior, the Executive Drive Pro provides a smooth, balanced riding experience.

    Comprehensive and convenient connectivity.

    The New BMW X7 includes the BMW Live Cockpit Plus with a freely customisable Information Display and touchscreen Control Display. Integral to the cockpit interface, the New BMW X7 is now equipped with the latest BMW Operating System 8 that forms the foundation for comprehensive connectivity. Vehicle systems can be controlled in multiple ways such as using the BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant, the multifunction buttons on the steering wheel, the BMW iDrive Controller as well as touchscreen and gesture control. The BMW Live Cockpit Professional also includes the BMW Head-Up Display as a standard feature, which projects important information relevant to the driver.

    A comprehensive range of modern driver assistance systems – the Parking Assistant Professional and Driving Assistant – are also available as standard for the New BMW X7. The Parking Assistant Professional is a camera- and ultrasound-based assistance system that can be used to start an automated parking manoeuvre.  Also included is the Reversing Assistant Professional, which records up to the last 200 metres covered.

    The Driving Assistant, on the other hand, comprise of features such as Lane Departure Warning, Lane Change Warning with active steering interventions, Front Collision Warning with brake intervention, Rear Crossing Traffic Warning, Rear Collision Prevention with exit warning, Speed Limit Info and manual Speed Limit Assist.

  • Lebih 25 Penyanyi Sertai program “ DARI KAWAN UNTUK KAWAN “

    Ibnor Riza dan Zaiton Sameon, dua penghibur legenda dari 1980-an, kini ditimpa kesusahan dan tidak dapat meneruskan profesion sebagai vokalis, yang merupakan sumber pendapatan mereka. Ibnor Riza baru-baru ini didapati menghidap kanser, lumpuh pita suara, kencing manis, tekanan darah tinggi, sakit kepala dan paras kolesterol berbahaya, manakala Zaiton Sameon didapati mengalami kerosakan otak traumatik akibat kejadian yang berlaku lebih 30 tahun lalu, yang meninggalkannya. cacat fizikal.

Namun, apabila Zain dibebaskan dari penjara, Lili mula rasa resah kerana trauma dengan perbuatan Zain memukulnya. Melur memujuk Lili supaya berdoa agar Zain insaf dan berubah perangai.

    Mawar pula sebenarnya ingin bercuti ke luar negara tetapi ayahnya Tuan Idrus memaksa Mawar bekerja supaya bersedia untuk mengambil alih syarikatnya suatu hari nanti. Mawar enggan bekerja sehinggalah suatu hari secara kebetulan bertemu dengan Firdaus dalam situasi yang membuatkan hati Mawar bergelora. Peristiwa ini membuatkan Mawar terus bersemangat untuk bekerja.

    Inisiatif Payung RAHMAH Lotus diperkenalkan sempena kempen RamRaya Sama-Sama Berseri oleh Lotuss Stores (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (Lotus’s Malaysia) sebagai tanda sokongan kepada program Kementerian Perdagangan Dalam Negeri dan Kos Sara Hidup (KPDN) untuk memudahkan tekanan yang dibawa oleh peningkatan kos sara hidup rakyat Malaysia.
