The stage is set for one of Malaysia’s most prestigious arts recognitions as the 20th BOH Cameronian Arts Awards (20BCAA) announces its nominees! Held at the Experimental Theatre, Taylor’s University Lakeside Campus, the event highlighted outstanding artists and productions in theatre, dance, music, and musical theatre, celebrating two decades of artistic brilliance.
Since its inception, BOH Plantations and Kakiseni have worked hand in hand to champion creative excellence. This year’s awards received 77 submissions across 38 categories, with 41 productions earning nominations. The selection process, led by a distinguished panel of industry experts, honours performances, technical mastery, and creative achievements.
This year, new initiatives such as the BCAA University Tour and Sharing Sessions with 20BCAA Nominees aim to further nurture the arts community. Jason Foo, CEO of BOH Plantations, expressed pride in the awards’ legacy, while Low Ngai Yuen, President of Kakiseni, emphasized the importance of keeping the arts relevant for future generations.

As the 20BCAA continues its mission to ignite inspiration for tomorrow, the arts community eagerly awaits the grand awards ceremony, where Malaysia’s finest talents will take center stage once more.
