The Mandarin Palace loacated at Federal Hotel was officially opened on 28 August 1957 in conjunction with Malaysia’s Independence Day celebrations. Mandarin Palace revamped and reopened on 16 January 2017 with an entire new exciting environment. The pillar, panel, ceiling and wall crafted with impressive Chinese elements like dragons, lotus flower, birds and so on.

With different menus on rotation each week, the buffet spread offers range of Chinese dishes. The delectable dim sum delights with combination of various menus especially cooked in various styles with chinese traditions.

The selection of dim sum, varieties ranging from siew mai dumpling, egg tart, BBQ chicken bun, mushroom dumpling, fried fish ball, bean curd, buttered salted egg pau, crispy yam rolls and otak-otak dumpling fish paste with bean curd, and many more. In addition, live cooking stations its served porridge, wanton noodles, and many more.
