Following its global launch, iQOO has revealed its next-generation performance flagship, the iQOO 16. Engineered under iQOO’s proprietary “3+2 Gaming Technology Framework,” the device brings desktop-grade computing, console-level visuals, and comprehensive system enhancements into mobile hardware, with an official Malaysian arrival slated for November 2026. At the core of the iQOO 16 is the cutting-edge Snapdragon® 8 Elite Gen 6 Mobile Platform, paired with LPDDR5X Ultra Pro RAM and fast UFS 4.1 storage. Sustaining peak clock speeds during intense gaming sessions is an oversized 8.5K Ice Dome VC liquid cooling system and an in-house kernel-level Monster Core Engine scheduler. Furthermore, the phone carries a massive 8,400mAh Blue Ocean battery supporting 100W wired FlashCharge and 40W wireless charging. The headline feature is the world’s first 2K 165Hz Samsung Everest Display, co-engineered directly with Samsung Display. Utilizing Samsung’s latest M16 emissive material and 2K LEAD™ 2.0 technology, the screen pushes peak brightness up to 2,800 nits while drawing 31% less power than equivalent 1.5K panels. The display is complemented by Q-flex low-latency touch controls, individually factory-calibrated subpixels, and native 165Hz support across dozens of major titles, including Honor of Kings. Bridging the gap between PC and mobile gaming, iQOO announced a partnership with Unreal Engine to bring Unreal Engine 5 rendering features—such as Lumen and Nanite—directly to handheld screens. Working alongside the primary chipset is iQOO’s dedicated Q4 esports chip, which functions as an internal discrete graphics processor to enable full-scene hardware ray tracing, game super-resolution, and real-time frame interpolation simultaneously. The device also integrates a built-in PC game emulator capable of running nearly 100 computer titles natively. Beyond pure gaming, the iQOO 16 steps into complete flagship territory with a versatile triple 50MP imaging array, featuring a 1/1.3-inch primary sensor with CIPA 5.5 stabilization, a Sony super periscope telephoto lens, and a low-distortion ultrawide shooter. Housed in a futuristic chassis featuring the “Tomorrow Porthole” camera module with IP68 and IP69 water and dust resistance, the iQOO 16 will be offered in Chasing Light, Legend, and Racing Track finishes when it hits Malaysian shelves this November.
