SHANTEA Dessert has officially opened its first outlet at Mid Valley Megamall, introducing a refreshing approach to Malaysian culinary heritage through desserts. The opening coincides with preparations for Visit Malaysia 2026, a campaign where food and cultural tourism are expected to play a vital role. SHANTEA Dessert seeks to highlight the richness of Malaysia’s culinary identity by transforming familiar tastes into creative offerings that appeal to both locals and international visitors.

This outlet marks the first of three planned stores, with more nationwide expansions and regional ventures already in the pipeline. SHANTEA Dessert aims to become a leading cultural touchpoint for food lovers while setting the stage for broader growth.

Designed as serene yet lively lifestyle spaces, SHANTEA Dessert outlets reflect a sanctuary for today’s mindful consumers who value nourishment and cultural connection. The menu features signature desserts, artisanal teas, milk teas, and Glow Fresher beverages, with highlights including the Mango Coco Mochi Hug, Musang King Coco Cloud, and Coconut Longjing Bird’s Nest.
To commemorate the opening, SHANTEA Dessert is offering a special treat to its early visitors. The first 100 customers on 2, 3, 4, and 5 October 2025 will receive a complimentary Coconut LongJing Bird’s Nest or Jasmine Rose Bird’s Nest drink, signature highlights from its crafted menu.
